Remarks

The good thing about our college is the quality of faculty, playground, hostel room and the atmosphere of study.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

All the exam are in the BAMS is totally practical and the theory base. they take an exam on every unit completion by which we can easily understand each and every topic. the study is totally fair and research driven and very much relevant for the students.

Placement Experience

5

I think the placement is good because, my senior told me that many companies visited in our college to place student and some Hospitals are also coming, so we can say that the maximum student gets placed in good CTC. Doon Institute of medical sciences work hard and provide good facilities for student.

College Events

4.5

In Doon Institute of medical sciences, many kinds of the festival are celebrated. A student belongs to different-different religion, so every religious festival will be celebrated together. Some internal festival also celebrated, like Freshers party where the student shows their talent. Oath ceremony, annual day, etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

The yearly fee for my course is 100000 per year, it may be different for next year. There is hostage fee for 80000 one year, which includes 4 meals, laundry, sports, the etc..Our college has a large playground for outdoor games such as cricket, football hockey, and a very good indoor place for indoor games such as table tennis, tennis, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for scholarship or loan, but there are many criteria for getting a scholarship. Originally it is for poor students or those related to sc, obc, st categories. The college helps them in getting their scholarship. Our college has fulfilled the central government's norms for scholarship along with the state government so that the student coming under this category gets his scholarship, and some other scholarships are also available in the college.

Campus Life

5

Campus Life is very good. There are many things to do along with your study, you can play a game or you can increase your talent in a specific area. The college has provided you all the facilities for this. There is a large playground in the college where you can maintain your health through gameplay. You can use the gym or indoor games for that. The college has a large library with more than 12000 books, articles, magazines, etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very large, there are many senior, some of which are very good in the study and some are good in some other activity. They are always ready to help you. Doon Institute of Medical Sciences has created a group of old Alumni, where you can reach them directly, you can take help whenever you need them.

Admission

I just saw the advertisement for the college in the Amar Ujala Dehradun, then I visited the Doon Institute of Medical Sciences to meet the admission department. the admission process is very simple and clear, they describe me to about BAMS course briefly and I got admission through NEET score.

Faculty

5

To access the faculty of Doon Institute of medical sciences is very easy. you can directly talk to the faculty members or you can visit the faculty room, they will definitely help you out. The Faculty members are very good in nature, so you can directly interact with him/her.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Majority of subjects are really helpful with their clinical applications in either diagnosing or treating the patients but some other subjects like Sanskrit grammar, padartha vigyan and others are just irrelevant and pose no significant use, the exams get difficult with each passing years as you have to study around 5 subjects per year and each subject has 2 papers and you have to pass in both of them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The increasing demand of ayurvedic and natural products and the motion of patients towards the ayurvedic medicine with no side effects influence me to choose this course. The curriculum of this course is as per the NCISM which prepares is very well for the future. We have 11 Formative Assessment and half yearly and annual exams and our FA's prepares us very well for the half yearly exams so that we don't need to cover the whole syllabus just one night before the exam and we have paper 1 and paper 2 of every subject. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate and it can be even more easy if we study well.

Course is good until 2015 but afterwards it becomes useless till 2021, literally batches after 2021 have the good syllabus and curriculum management. NCISM thought about students afterwards, CCIM literally don't know how to design a syllabus l, everything is so messy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because Ayurveda is a very wide field it is not a science it is like a Veda that we are reading so it has a huge scope in the coming era after Covid time. Students are to faculty ratio is completely fulfilled as per the norms of the NCISM committee Each and Every Single faculty had completed their MD ( maters ). As it's a professional course so the exam is according to the university and quite difficult to pass.
