Remarks

Infrastructure is very good. ragging is banned in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is too much practical based very much relevant and the research-driven. Classes are fully WiFi enabled and the teaching method is totally projector based. they have very good lab space for every subject so the student can easily see the live demonstration of every unit.

Placement Experience

5

Placement totally depends on your practical knowledge. they invited multiple hospitals for placing the students but you have to qualify it.

College Events

5

Doon Institute of Medical Sciences celebrated all Religious event into the college with the same sprite. you can enjoy HOLI, DEEPAWALI, EID CHRISTMAS on the college campus. they also organized some internal festivals also like oath ceremony, freshers party, the annual day with sports, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course BACHELOR OF AYURVEDIC MEDICINE AND SURGERY is divided into five years where you have to pay 1 lakh rupee tuition fee every year. if you to take hostel then it will cost 60,000 to 1 lakh per year extra depending upon your room choice. Hostel rooms are nit and clean.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't opt scholarship because I belong to the general category, but if you belong to the SC/ST/OBC then you can easily find the State Government Scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is very much awesome you can enjoy here. they have a very good outdoor stadium on the campus where you can enhance your physical strength. you can join the college gym. the hostel is separated for girls and boys, and both hostels have an indoor stadium.

Alumni/Alumna

Every Year college invites old pass out Students for there valuable experiences, comments and for meet up. junior can take advantages of it.

Admission

After completing 12th I want to join the BAMS course but the problem is to find the best medical college in Dehradun. I saw ads of Doon Institute of medical sciences in the newspaper then I contact the college for inquiry. I was NEET qualified so I didn't face any difficulties to get admit in this college.

Faculty

4.5

Doon Institute of Medical Sciences have mostly Ph.D. holder faculty members who are well educated and qualified in his teaching field. they are very much helpful for the student. these Faculty members are selected by the Management Team through the interview basis.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Majority of subjects are really helpful with their clinical applications in either diagnosing or treating the patients but some other subjects like Sanskrit grammar, padartha vigyan and others are just irrelevant and pose no significant use, the exams get difficult with each passing years as you have to study around 5 subjects per year and each subject has 2 papers and you have to pass in both of them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The increasing demand of ayurvedic and natural products and the motion of patients towards the ayurvedic medicine with no side effects influence me to choose this course. The curriculum of this course is as per the NCISM which prepares is very well for the future. We have 11 Formative Assessment and half yearly and annual exams and our FA's prepares us very well for the half yearly exams so that we don't need to cover the whole syllabus just one night before the exam and we have paper 1 and paper 2 of every subject. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate and it can be even more easy if we study well.

Course is good until 2015 but afterwards it becomes useless till 2021, literally batches after 2021 have the good syllabus and curriculum management. NCISM thought about students afterwards, CCIM literally don't know how to design a syllabus l, everything is so messy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because Ayurveda is a very wide field it is not a science it is like a Veda that we are reading so it has a huge scope in the coming era after Covid time. Students are to faculty ratio is completely fulfilled as per the norms of the NCISM committee Each and Every Single faculty had completed their MD ( maters ). As it's a professional course so the exam is according to the university and quite difficult to pass.
