Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is fair for making the desired Professional in this field. unit exam held on every unit completion. All the research is based on a research basis relevant and fair. The goal-oriented teaching facility making the doon institute medical sciences is more effective.

The Placement graph of the Doon Institute of medical sciences is very high. Multiple MNC's or hospital like Patanjali Hospital, Max Hospital, DIMS Hospital, visited in Doon Institute of medical sciences.

Campus life is very good in all aspects, there are gym, sports ground for outdoor games. Indoor games are played on the campus on a regular basis. Doon Institute of medical sciences develops your knowledge as well as physical strength. So I can say its a perfect college for the study.

Senior is well sportive in the Doon Institute of medical sciences. Alumni Network is very vast. They are very much helpful.

I just saw the college advertisement in the newspaper, then I call the administration department of the Doon Institute of medical sciences. the admission process is very easy for students and admission staff is very helpful. Admission is done on the NEET basis. Those students who have secure sufficient marks in Neet Examination got admitted.

Great teacheds regarding ayurvedic and modern medicine

Dislikes

The college doesn't have much patients and lacks clinical practice
College lacks basic resources for learning practical aspects like CPR or IV
College only focuses on theoretically based studying methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

Majority of subjects are really helpful with their clinical applications in either diagnosing or treating the patients but some other subjects like Sanskrit grammar, padartha vigyan and others are just irrelevant and pose no significant use, the exams get difficult with each passing years as you have to study around 5 subjects per year and each subject has 2 papers and you have to pass in both of them.

They have a cadaver thing available here.
Professors are good in there work. They do hardwork on students
There place is surrounded by mountains nd forest so is good escape from city life.

Dislikes

There js nor proper transportation facilities
We are bot allowed to have our own vehicle in hostel
Hostel are in very bad condition nd complain are not listened

Exams are difficult recently i had my exams they very tough. Its a 100 mark paper for each subject. Many subjects have 2 exams rather. A 3 hours exam were conducted. College even holds the internal exams every 6 months.

After graduating you hold digree in BAMS you can practice or your can do government job of AMO ayurvedic medical officer and you can go for post graduation research. There is good career opportunities. The average salary of bams doctor in government is fiffty thousand to one lakh seventy five thousand.

Curriculum is nice I choosed this college because of its all india ranking as I wanted to opt for government college for bams For improvement college should focus on our duration of classes In every 6 month we have term exams and on every 2nd month we have periodic exams

Likes

Faculty is really good very much qualified from good universities
Loved how every student was treated equally by teachers
Loved their kind & compassionate approach of teachinv things

Dislikes

Fee structure is too much as compared to other facilities
As a medical student they couldn’t provide us even with a body for anatomy lab
They used to ask for fee of next year in advance

I was preparing for neet and i got admission into this..i did not like it in the beginning but i have started loving it so much now. There are no such improvements required in teaching curriculum it was really great.. Nothing to complain as they conducted exams on weekly and monthly basis as well for our preparation

Likes

The Faculty is very good in teaching skills.
The Scholarship Program is available to almost everyone.
The Campus life is very cool and joyable.

Dislikes

Few Faculty members in some departments.
There is no big auditorium in the campus.
Lack of some basic facilities like Wifi and other things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I chose this course because of its rising demand and also because I have a keen interest in learning about Ayurveda, its remedies, and its treatment. In teaching the faculty is good overall. But in some departments, the faculty members are very few. The faculty member is well qualified. They all are mds from different regions of India. Many of them are from BHU too. The term exams are conducted in every 6 months(total 3 times) as the 1st prof. is of one and a half years now. And the periodic test is conducted 3 times in every 6 months(Total 9 times) and the Last Final exam is conducted at the end of the prof.

I chose this course because Ayurveda is a very wide field it is not a science it is like a Veda that we are reading so it has a huge scope in the coming era after Covid time. Students are to faculty ratio is completely fulfilled as per the norms of the NCISM committee Each and Every Single faculty had completed their MD ( maters ). As it's a professional course so the exam is according to the university and quite difficult to pass.
