Course Curriculum Overview
The circulum is very basic. They are teaching all the things that were taught to us in grade 11 and 12 in school. No practical knowledge is given. Only theory is being taught. They make us keep writing unnecessary assignments. They should teach more about how we will work in the real world. They should provide case study knowledge.
Fees and Financial Aid
BBA course fee in my college is Rs.45000 annually. This includes tuition fees, registration fees, development and lab fees and activities fees. Fees for students of SC/ST caste is approximately Rs.6000. No scholarship is provided for merit students,although there are some financial aids available for students who cannot pay enough
Campus Life
The college organizes fresher's party, farewell party, diwali party, and some little bit fests for students. Subject books are available but the quantity is less. Classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and smart boards. Not much extra curricular activities are provided. They said to be running NCC and NSS clubs but never got to hear about them. The college life is very boring.
Admission
I applied to SJU, Bangalore earlier. I also gave interview for admission. But later I and my parents decided that I should do my UG in my city only. I had to choose this college just because it was near my home. I didn't really want to get into an all girls college but I had to. There is no exam required to get admission in my college. The only thing is that the student must have scored at least 50 percent in 12th exams.
Faculty
Faculty members are very helpful and cooperative. Mrs sukhwinder is very kind and friendly towards students. She is also a great teacher. Mrs. Preeti doesn't teach well and talks about anything but study. There are 3 exams in a semester including 2 MSTs and 1 final exam.
