Course Curriculum Overview

The course I chose is a sub branch of computer science and engineering namely DATA SCIENCE which is having many placements and job opportunities in outside world as well as the software companies are hiring many students from this course having good skills.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 66000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many internships are planned in our college like tea hubs and recently we had internship program through T-works company who took many students to their company and educated them with outside world. Most of the internship opportunities are a fail in our college.

Placement Experience

The placements in our college are very very less in fact we can even say there ain't no placements in these last few years many of us students would enhance our skills as much as possible in the college and try getting employed ourselves outside the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee through eamcet and ecet is 31000 if the admission is through management the fee is 66000 per year and in the first year the university fee is 10000 and 4500 from second to fourth year Also for every sem we need to pay 1800 as exam fees for each supply they charge 500 rupees and for less attendance they start from 3000 and end with 10000 rupees

Campus Life

The name of the annual fest conducted in our college is ELYSIUM which is celebrated grandly also small time celebrities are invited as guests as well as many group activities among the students are planned to make the fest succes.

Admission

I got approved in other college through eamcet in second counselling named JBIT but the college was far away compared to my current college as well as the fee is also high. Also the JBIT college was not autonomous but my current college is.

Faculty

The faculty is good towards students and some of the faculty are really strict especially chairman sir but they take good care of every student in the campus the faculty often interact with students regarding subjects as well as different courses

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
