Best CS department in city.

I just wish that they provide their pupil what they require, what they didn't gave us, honestly we did our engineering ourselves, teachers were for show, sometimes they teach us mostly we were on our own.

I took State PET and got admission here I chose CSE because algorithms intrigued me, mathematical problems and set theory, the usual logic part of mathematics etc pushed me into the field.

Excellent atleast it was good when I left off, I don't know how it is now though curriculum is copied from IITs so it is good if you study from books not from QBs, Faculties are good as well, PHds former GMs etc, all experienced ones, but I don't know present situation so do your own research before opting it.

There was absolutely no help when it comes to placements, you will not be placed through college, 99% chance is that some non technical company might run a fake campus, and that is all you are going to get but each and everyone from my batch is at good position, almost everyone I knew is onsite so CSE department prepares you well, don't know about other departments but none of my friends from other department got a decent placement so it's your call.

None as I mentioned above, you will not be placed via any campus selection, atleast not from this college, you might get selected from any other college though.

Yes this is a thing they got right, every year we have this celebration, girls invest a lot of their time in this fest and it's awesome, there is nothing like it, best time of college is this.

No fees structure is not feasible but it's cheaper than rest of India, it's MP, Cheapest education is available here, I am telling you from my experience,

Only to SC ST and OBC Non creamy layer, no merit based scholarship, got any distinguishing achievement, go to an NIT or IIT or abroad this place is not for you if you got merit in 12th congratulations, you will get a shield (may be) and 500 rs, that too if someone remembers it to give you.

No extracurricular activity what so ever except the fest I told you about, if you are into sports you may participate in a university level competition that UIT organizes that's all.

Hostels food accommodation is good, better than bangalore, hyderabad and far far better than delhi, bhopal is quite city best place for studying and living peacefully, that is if you want to.

I won't dare to put my foot back in that god for saken place called NIIST& neither my seniors nor my juniors, I don't hate it, but it was not a very hospitable culture you will make friends with your peers only.
