We have an excellent course Curriculum. The classes which are conducted are 70% Practical based and 30% of the course has theory paper. Students get training in all the major subjects required in the Hospitality Industry which helps each student to become a perfect professional in the future. The main Course in which we get the training is Front Office Management, House Keeping, Food & Beverage Service Management, Food Production. Each Subject has there separate Labs. There are certain additional Subjects along with the Major Subjects like - Tourism, Marketing, Computer Fundamentals, Foreign Language, English communication, Hotel Accountancy, Management, Business laws, etc, classes along with Special Classes on Grooming Sessions, Personality Development Classes, Management Techniques, and case studies.

In reference to the previous records of my seniors and also in interacting with them JBHM has an excellent Placement track record. The placement cell is highly effective and almost 100 % placements are made every year and that too in 5-star Category properties. Students are provided with both National and International placement options with great career exposure. I have been selected among one of the prestigious group in the Hospitality sector that is The Marriott Group for my Industrial Training which is like a dream come true for me.

This is one of the highlighting features of our Institute JBHM, that we get the opportunity to celebrate a lot of cultural as well as professional events. During my first year only I have attended more than 10 to 12 cultural and professional events. Like Holi Festival, Diwali Celebration, Independence day, Teacher's day celebration, Saraswati Puja, Freshers Party in the cultural part. In the Professional part, I have participated in inter hef Competition, Cake Mixing ceremony, etc. these events generally help students to work as a team and builds ability as a team person which is very helpful in professional life.

As I have mentioned in the Tag line it is one of the best institutes with nominal fee structure as our institute is under a trust and runs on non- profit mode. Moreover, there are no hidden expenses apart from the total mentioned fee structure of the course. My entire fee structure was around approx Rs. 60,000 which is much lesser compared to any other Hospitality Management Institute in Kolkata compared to the facilities provided to us.

The scholarship is available for both meritorious & needy students. As our Institute is socially liable so it gives scholarship to students coming from the weaker economic background. bank loans are also available for the students who have a requirement for it and it is provided to the students after verifying with the proper documentation required by the Bank.

The campus life was one of the memorable ones for me as students from many diversified and ethnic background attend our college, we have students from Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Andra Pradesh, Uttarakhand, North-East, and other parts of Bengal, so it gives me feel of a mini India, in our campus, the ratio of boys and girls are almost equal to 50:50 ratio, campus is always buzzing with extracurricular activities. Labs are very well equipped and the class is wifi-connected, with AC and audio-visual facilities.

The brotherhood among seniors and juniors are really good, and seniors are there to guide us always in the campus process when I came as a newcomer, moreover I am connected with many seniors now via social media and WhatsApp, which helps in placement feedback and future help.

I came to know about JBHM from a friend of mine who had pursued her course from this institute. The process of taking admission in JBHM is very simple, firstly I went there for a free career counseling and got to know the entire details regarding the Hospitality Sector and its future prospects. Furthermore I had to go through a formal round of interactive interview were my attitude as well as aptitude was judged and after the counseling session I was provided with the prospectus and Admission form which is only Rs.500 /- for which I made a cash payment but it could also be paid by DD/NEFT/online payment modes. Admission procedure can be made both through offline as well as Online Transaction which is very helpful for Outstation students.

For me the way of assessing the abilities of a faculty is, how easily he/she can make the subject understandable and help in clarifying the doubts, the thing I like the most in JBHM is how much the extent a faculty goes in helping us understand the subjects and every faculty is easily approachable for clarifying doubts, as it is said in our institute that if you understand the concept, practicals becomes easier, and as the faculties use audiovisual aids and other modern techniques of teaching, hence the lessons becomes highly interactive in class and also in practicals, thus understanding each subject becomes quite easy.
