Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

From always I was really interested in art and craft. So I choose this subject to work on my passion. And tbh Iam loving it. I am learning so many different things. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is the lack of space. As an artist we need a lot of space to do work so.. Our exams are pretty easy from my point of view because in our course there's mostly practicals only.

Internships Opportunities

4

I haven't personally applied for any internship from the college. But they're students who have got intership opportunities. Our college also provides internship within the campus as well. For medical students they can do internship in nims hospital as well. Non medical students can do internship in admin

Placement Experience

3.5

From the last 2 semester a student become ls eligible for campus placement. The highest and average package offered was 20 LPA and 5LPA respectively. I don't know about how many percentage they got. I want to work on my own art studio after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

For first year I got 50% scholarship as I had 80% marks in 12th board. So I paid 15000 as tution fee. After 1st year it depends on my performance in university exam Total tution fee is 30000 per year Other than that there's 10000 club fees for events and everything. You'll also have to pay examination fee as well. You'll also get 50% discount on fees if you're from and other state.

Campus Life

5

The events and festivals in our campus is celebrated very well. All the events are well organised. I would say per month there's a big event that happens in nims. The central library is very huge and it provides all kind of books I guess For sports every year there's a 5 days events organised called NIMS Spardha. In which around 1000nds of students participates. There are so many social groups like Nss and dance clubs and other activity clubs helps alot to explore

Admission

I applied for JJ art college and chandigarh art University but for some reason I wasn't able to give exam for chandigarh University and was not selected for JJ. So I saw advertisement of nims university. So I researched about it and applied. For Nims admission process was pretty easy, I just filled the form and after that a counsellor assisted me for further details. So it was pretty easy

Faculty

4

In my department specifically the student and faculty bond is really good and they helps alot. As I am in fine Arts department we need alot of guidance and need of correction, so they help alot. Virendra Sir and Jitendra sir are our two faculty members and they are very sweet and kind and really helps us out from any situation. I don't think there's any faculty whom I don't like. All are nice and I don't have to interact with them. There's 2 internal exams and 1 sem exam per Semester. If somebody fails in 1st or 2nd internal they can cover it up in another exam. So there's not many students who fail
