Interview Experience
Admission Process and Experience at IIMT College The admission process at IIMT College for the BJMC program was quite smooth and student-friendly. The process mainly consisted of an online application followed by a basic screening of academic records. There wasn’t any complex GD (Group Discussion) or personal interview for my course, but in some departments or postgraduate programs, candidates might be asked to participate in an interview or entrance test. For courses that do conduct interviews or tests, the pattern generally includes a written aptitude test covering General Knowledge, Current Affairs, English Comprehension, and Logical Reasoning. Interview questions are often basic, like “Why do you want to join this course?”, “What are your strengths?”, “Who is your role model?”, or questions related to current news or media events (for BJMC aspirants). As for preparation, I kept myself updated with current affairs by reading newspapers, followed news debates, and practiced speaking fluently about trending topics to boost my confidence. I also brushed up on basic communication skills and presentation style. Now, speaking honestly, I would rate IIMT College quite high on the "happiness" index. The environment is friendly, the faculty is approachable, and there's good encouragement for extracurricular activities. While infrastructure can be improved in some areas, the college does offer a balance of academics, exposure, and personal growth. The peer group is supportive, and you get enough opportunities to explore your interests, which truly adds to a happy college life.
