Review of government medical college surat

Mbbs course curriculum is totally based on real world uses all the diseases are covered in it and it's very interesting as well as difficult and exams are very frequent and difficult and porsnolly for me I wanted to become a doctor since I was a child and this course is best way to achieve that dream curriculum is stressful some times but you have to do what you have to do to become a doctor and the teaching methods of this curriculum is old and need improvement for sure but this course is involving itself time to time that's a good thing We can get improvement in machine and the infrastructure for sure

College provide one year of internship in attached hospital in which you get to work in different apartment like ortho, surgery, emergency, gynecologi , and many more departments to get all type of experience In which you assest the residence doctor and lurn about thing that help you choose your pg courses

After completing 4 and a half year of mbbs you get compulsory internship in college attached hospital in which you get around 20k per month stipend for one year after that you can apply for pg in which you get around 85k per month and that's pretty good as staring pakage and almost 90peraent of students get that

The yearly fees of our college is 25000 and mbbs course is around 4.5 years so total fees is 1.12 lakh and other fees combined are around 5-10 k a year and you get scholarship like digital gujrat scolership

So campus of my college is new than others college in which we got lacture room prectical rooms for different subject a central air conditioned library In the library there are all the books available that needed for your course all golden standard book are there For sports we have sports week ones a year and we got bedminton and tabel tennis court There are many clubs like environmental club and etc

So hostel is ok you can survive there we got 1 room for three students three bed three study table and one almari Meal quality is decent Hostel is wery affordable around 1000 per year only charged Hostel is around 500m away from campus

So I applied for all government medical colleges in gujrat and I got almost all of them but I choose surat because it's a big sity so hospital patient ratio is pretty good so i get too much experience and that what is needed My college in compere to other colleges of Gujarat like bhavnagar and jamnagar has new campus and library is also air conditioned and good

We got 2 faculty for each subject one for theory and one for prectical and so ratio is 1:42 and it's quite ok and we have 3 exams a year and because of the course seriousness they are difficult to pass
