Course Curriculum Overview
We just have to study what the College decides. For a computer science student the course relevance is 50% only and the rest of the subjects aren't needed for a CSE student. There a SAC centre which students explore to different domains which will be useful for the student's future. If you attend daily to SAC you will have a strong knowledge on different domains and will be useful to get placed only if u attend SAC daily and interact with juniors rather than giving important to academic subjects. The areas it should improve is to change the subject of a computer science student from second year and make the computer science course valid The exams aren't too frequent but the mid exams are conducted daily with 2 exams a day and totally 6 subjects will be conducted on 3 days, but the semester exams have a 1 or 2 days gap between two exams
Internships Opportunities
Accenture, pennant tech and other tech companies offer good IT roles and there is a company called quality kiosk a testing company and I got placed in that with an average package of 3lpa I went to an internship which was provided by the college in there I learnt a project which is on full stack web development using django. Here I learnt how to create a webpage and backend logic using python.
Placement Experience
Due to recession my year didn't have any placements. They brougt some companies in that time to but those are startups and some of them are MNCs like Accenture. But the my seniors have good placement records. From the third year 1st semester the students are eligible for placements The average package of the college is 3-4 lpa In my year the placement percentage is low but the previous years have more than 60% chance. I did wanted to do MS in USA or Germany after 2 years of graduation
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid the tution fee of 61200/- for every year, I did pay the placement fee of 12500 in the first 2 years and in the next 2 years It is 15000/- per year, There is lab breakage fee of 100/- even if we didn't touch anything in the lab we should pay the lab fee, I have the attendance fee of 500/- initially but now it is increased to 2000, I did the paid the fine of 500 because I didn't paid the tution fee on time, even now I have to pay 300 /- after graduation to take my graduation certificates
Campus Life
The tech fests are very good and the environment of the fests are spectacular The library management and books are vast and good The facilities and technologies provided in the classroom aren't bad in my opinion The sports and other activities are very encouraging and helpful there will be NCC and NSS campaigns from 1st year onwards There is a department called SAC from there the students from different departments combine and share their ideas to develop it as a project. It is the most useful department in the college
Admission
I applied for other Colleges like AUCE, ANITS but non of the colleges accepted me because of the eamcet rank I got. The admission process is 70-80% based on eamcet and the remaining is management quota The eligibility is you have to have a eamcet rank which is less than the cutoff. The most preferred exam is AP eamcet which contains 160 marks and the qualifying marks are 40.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good cuz we have 2 to 3 lecture for 1 subject and my favourite lectures are Srinivas rachakonda and Stalin Babu these 2 lecturers are highly skillful and no ego to share information whenever we want. Srinivas sir have the good knowledge of understanding and explaining the topics very simply and completely. Some of the lectures don't have the knowledge but they show the arrogance and ego and other stuff against some of the students.
Other Applied Colleges
Andhra University, College of Engineering - [AUCE] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering)
Because my eamcet rank I was a huge number to get into this university
