What Students Say

Likes

First thing about college is the CAMPUS.It is beautiful and serene.
Placements are only for BBA and Physical sciences background.
The teaching faculty is good and they guide you well.

Dislikes

No placements for biological or life sciences courses.
Not much college events are there only few.
The Administrative people are not at all helpful.They will just shout at you.

Frequency and the timings of exams are well scheduled.When I was a student,there is no internship opportunity but now our juniors are having the opportunity to go internship and trainings.I would suggest the college should work on bringing the placements more.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 22500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees for my course when I was doing my bachelor's for 3 years was 22500. It was increased for my juniors now. l guess it is 33000 now. I had a scholarship opportunity which is TS-EPASS. You will be eligible if your father's income is less than 1,50,000.

Campus Life

There are very few technical festivals. The library is good, you will find almost all the books which you need. Sports and other extracurricular activities are very well encouraged and you would see atleast one programme going on in the week.

Admission

I have first applied to RBVRR college for food and nutrition course and then I got know that Osmania university college for women also have the course so I applied for that only college through DOST.I got selected and went for self reporting.I would say this college is good if you want to perform practicals because I have heard that other colleges don't have the proper facilities for conducting practicals.

Faculties are easy to approach and good.For every semester there will be two internals and one final semester along with practical exams.Marking scheme is good and exams are conducted strictly and monitored frequently.

Along with the Telangana mahila vishwavidyalayam I have also applied for Andhra Mahila sabha college for women in Osmania campus and also A.V college of arts and science but I opted for this college because this college has a great history and great old heritage.The british residency building called Durbar hall and the old buildings inside the campus along with that the lush green campus with peacocks,birds and greenary would keep our mind peaceful and the huge trees under which we used to sit and study and the standard curriculum of the college grabbed us towards this college. I am not rejected by any college but I myself opted for this college .The eligibility criteria of this college is that you need to get above 90% in your intermediate and you need to apply in DOST and appear for the counselling to get the seat in this college....Read More
