Course Curriculum Overview
The MBBS teaching in this college is pretty hands on. You'll have your clinical postings regularly from second year onwards. There is a good inflow of patients in the hospital so exposure is pretty good.
Internships Opportunities
You're offered a compulsory intership for one year with the hospital affiliated with the college itself. The stipend is Rs 18,000 per month. The work is hectic as the hospital is busy but it's good for gaining experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is Rs 25,000 anually for AIQ students With extra 4000 yearly for hostel. The fees for state quota student is 2,500 only. Additional scholarships are given by Gujarat government for reserved candidates.
Campus Life
The annual college fest held here is called Ecstasy It has both artistic as well as sports event. All the books relevant to the couse are available in the library either both indian and foreign writers.
Hostel Facilities
First years are required to share a room between 3 people. The mess meal are reasonable. Obviously nothing special. It's a government college after all. But still more reasonable than other colleges The annual hostel fees is 3000 for AIQ students
Admission
You need to secure a rank within 10k in NEET as a general category student to have a chance at admission here. All the admission detail is provided on the college website. The exams are at an interval of 3 months
Faculty
The faculty is quite large in size. Each student is provided their own mentor who they can approach anytime. All the teachers are highly qualified (Anatomy department is the best personally) . As for doubts, there are teachers available in the department always.
