My life as a bpharm student.

As per course, it is well decribed. Subjects become harder as you reach higher semesters. More than one faculties teach one subject. Hour time is uploaded on university website which assues the number of hours/lectures required for a unit and the time table is made according. For those who perform well in labs are graded well. Those with poor performance are given a chance to repeat the practical which can be done at free time slot. Mostly they complete the syllabus in 3-4 months and exams are then announced before 2-3 weeks of syllabus completion. One internal and one external exam are conducted. There is a gap of around 10 days between the exams so cover the syllabus. There are 6 units in each subject of which 4 are conducted in internal exam, 1 is assigned in assignment and 1 is to be studies for class test. External exams includes all 6 units.

Top companies like Maclades, Pharma, Rics, Sun Pharma, etc., recruit us. Stufents having CGPA more than 7 are more likely to get placement. Average placement is around 2.5 L - 3.5L as a starting package. Internship is provided to those who have better grades. Those with less CGPA has to seach for internship on their own in last sem.

When I took the admission, the fees was 43,500 per semester now for those who qualify to enter via exams such as GUJCET or NEET through ACPC will have to pay the same fees. Those who want to enter via management quota have to pay 55000 per semester excluding 10000 one time admission fees.Admission via Scholorship is available. The labs are good and the instruments to be used are new. Although the placement is not that high. Avarage placement of 2022 was around 2L/Annum. If you want to do masters in pharmacy after b.pharm then its a good option.

The most famous YOUTH FEST is held every year in Feb. It is the biggest fest of college which contans many activites. You can be easily a part of it. It lasts for 3 days which also includes DJ night. There are also many activites including sports day (3days), navratri celebration, ganesh aagman, etc Almost all the festivles are celebrated here. Also concerts are held time to time for entertainment. There are many clubs availabe inclding NSS. Threature club is really famous as it once advanced to nationals.

Student have to clear 10+2. Favorable conditions are better marks in GUJCET or NEET or any other state level exam. Admissions are done via ACPC rank. Those who are interested can apply via ACPC website where they have to fill the form. Many of the pharcamy colleges of gujarat are included in ACPC so there's a better chance to get admission in a college. You just have to choose the college in which you want to enroll. GUJCET and NEET are conducted near board exams. Gujcet is conducted before boards (around feb-march) Guject contains MCQs and is of 120 marks (60 bio, 30 phy, 30chem).

Classroom is of 60 students max. Faculties give personal attention to each and every student. There are some faculties who actually will explain you a topic for nth number of times. As per syllabus advances many faculties will describe you more about career in pharmacy and will guide you properly. Although one thing is that if they dislike you then there could be biasness. Also, attandence matters the most. You'll be benefical if you're present in the class.
