Likes

All classes of B com are newly constructed. So new furniture is great.
Classes are fully ventilated so rooms remains cool even fans are off.
Teachers are very well educated and helping.

Dislikes

College’s inquiry call centre is very bad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual course fees is 58,000 hostel fees, nine 43,000 MS fees, 2900 per month scholarship and financial aid option available including campus job and with fair steps, Tuition fee hike is not regular.

Campus Life

Campus life is vibrate and with various clubs and activities. Annual festivals include tech feast in March and cultural feast in December. The college is very famous for bhangra and other punjabi cultural activities. The library has good range of books. Classroom are well equiped with very good furniture.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel species 46000 with additional charges rooms have good airflow, but no issue or cooler provided you need to clean your room by your own. The meals are decent with the varied menu. The registration process is smooth and affordable. There is additional mass charges 2900 per month.

Hostel Fee: INR 43000 per year

Admission

Admission process was bit confusing. I applied in June on Punjab government portal. And I got a message from Punjab government that I have cleared merit list, but I didn't get any call from the College. Then when I called the college I found out the last date of submission has passed. I visited College a week later I got directed admission, but my role number was assigned very late, improvement needed, better communication, and clear deadlines .

Faculty

If there is any problem regarding study, students, class room or teacher you can easily talk to any teacher he/ she will definitely give his/ her 100% to resolve your problem. Staff of this faculty is excellent

The course curriculum shoes that the staff members and their teaching method and overall interaction with the students is very good and friendly which influenced me to join the college. Placement Experience:

Students get eligible for placements after 2nd semester. Various companies related to IT sector visited but since I didn't attended many placement sessions I don't have much idea about it. As much as I have heard from my friends the maximum average package was around 10lakhRs Percentage of students getting placement is not I remember completely but it might be around 10-20%

There are no placement opportunities for students. We have found a job on our own. Many students go for further studies or change their fields. Some students join as helpers in small clinics around the college. There is no help provided by the college for internships eitherI choose this course here in Khalsa College because it is only provided there.
