Entrance Preview

I took I-CET entrance test, Got 686 Rank and getting admission into MCA. Gayathri Vidya Parished is one of the best college in Visakhapatnam.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curiculum is good but not exactly useful for real world what we working now. Instead of more theoretical it should covers practical knowledge as well.

Internships Opportunities

TCS and Wipro came to college and offers 3.3 lacs per annum as stipend.And few other small companies also visited to my college but offers less than the above figures.

Placement Experience

Almost 30 got places in different companies and the following are package detailes which they offer TCS - 3.3 lacs per annum, Wipro - 3.3 lacs per annum

College Events

We had celebrated Freshers Day and Annual Day. The Annual Day was really nice and lot of memorable things it given. And also covered lot ofcultural events as part of annual day.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not taken any loan but heard from people was, college supporting education loans whenever students approaches. They were providing necessary documents which were asked by banks.

Hostel Facilities

We do not have hostel facilities in college but we do have lot of PG's with less cost. Mostly we can get both food and accommodation approximately 4000 per month.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

It was very good in my college because we do have weekly lab specific to subject areas and also conducts monthly test class wise and as a college will conduct exams on every three months.

My honest experience with campus journey and learning at mits

Placement Experience:

The placmet oppurtunites in MITS for MCA start from the second semister for mca student the highest package is 5-6 lpa and while average package is 3-4 lpa , due to recession not much students got placed in the campus but the college placement department helpful in the off campus oppurtunites ,after completed my mca i plan to choose career in .net fullstack so currently i have been trainig in .net fullstack

Placement Experience:

In my college, the MCA students are eligible for placements first year itself. Their many companies visited our college like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini etc. The average package is 5 LPA. In MCA 70% of students get the placements. We have the best placements in our college. They will recruit the students while they are pursuing their degrees. And we have the highest package of 24 LPA. Till now more than 75% of students are placed. My plan is to get a placement in our college after getting my degree.
