Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

•Honestly speaking, for me I choose PCM in graduation just for the sake of a scholarship named INSPIRE. It was available only to PCM students, so that factor heavily influenced me choosing the stream. •if someone want to pursue further career in academics, then the curriculum and academics they offered was good. •After the implementation of new education policy, curriculum has been changed according to the NEP. As far as teaching methods concerned, some of the teachers may become more friendly.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

In the final year of graduation, various internship opportunities were available there for students. You me work at ground level or as technical level or in the academics for internship. Tasks were differentiated according to the subject of internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

•Total charges in graduation was something around 10-12k. But as you avail scholarships, this charge went further down. • scholarships available are INSPIRE Central sector Medhavi yojna Gaao ki Beti Separatly for SC/ST/OBC students

Campus Life

4

As I said, extra curricular activities were organised frequently. Even I participated in state level youth festival in the final year of my graduation and grabbed third position in the quiz event. NCC and NSS are also available there to groom the personality of students. Inter college competitions gives students plethora of exposure. Sports competition at inter College level organised by govt and at college level, players were selected on the basis of trials

Admission

During 2019, admission was on the percentage basis of 12th exam. There were 3 online rounds for counselling and then CLC round which is known as College level counselling. At my time, cutoff for PCM went around 88% for PCM. Application forms all are available at E-pravesh website

Faculty

4

•The faculty-to-student ratio was roughly 1:60 so there wasn't serious issue regarding the availability of faculties. Aldo there were guest faculties too. •Faculties has good command over their subjects so qualification they are up-to-mark. •Most of the faculties were cooperative. You may contact them in campus offline and also online through calls and whatsapp. They were there to hear you and guide you through all the problems arising in academics, personal and professional Life.

Placement Experience:

About about 70% of students are placed in our course. Highest package is of Rs. 40000 and the lowest is Rs. 20000. Lupin, sun Pharma , Pfizer, Novartis, Bharat bioTec, Biocon are the leading companies which offer jobs in companies. Placement criteria firstly starts with aptitude test , then a mock interview for preparations and career development cell grooms students towards professionalism and teach them learning etiquettes. Approx. 60 percent of students get internship in immunology and company like Sun Pharma and Lupin. HR, digital marketing, content writing, designing head, etc. My plan after getting graduate from Biotechnology is that I will join the field of agriculture biotechnology and start a business which supports farmer's development and solve their ground level problems.

Admission:

My parents advised me to apply for this college. Cut-offs are often higher as toppers are attracted by this college. I registered using the epravesh website of the MP Government. It was an easy process. After that, I have to get my documents verified at the nearest help center which was in my town itself. After verification, I had to wait for the list to be announced. This is also a completely online process. After you get to know that you are selected, you have to download the call letter and then go to college.
