Course Curriculum Overview

4

The exposure to art that this course gives is the main thing that has influenced me to choose this course. The work that we do during the academics prepares us to do the work when we go in the real world. The regular submissions are more harder than the exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I'm in 4th year right now so I haven't yet joined any internship. So I can't speak about this. But there are always seniors who help out juniors with their queries. And the college makes sure that each student gets a great internship to get great learnings.

Placement Experience

5

Semester 8 makes students eligible for campus placements. I want to pursue a Master's after getting the degree. I can't speak about internship-related topics because I haven't reached that semester yet.

Fees and Financial Aid

The coursework itself expects so much work from us that working elsewhere is hard. The fee structure is too much, but the college has government and third-party scholarship opportunities. In total almost goes up to 2 Lakhs but the scholarships can lower it by 50%. EBC scholarship (government), and FROSTU Scholarship are available.

Campus Life

4

We have our sports and cultural events at the start of the year. Then in February-March, we have our national trips. Then moving forward we have a week where we dress up and celebrate different days. The college provides many facilities. We have a library full of books that have a wide range of variety. Then we also have a model room, material room, survey room computer lab. There are 2 types of classrooms available studio and lecture rooms. There is a student council body present so the students take part in it and also various committees like cultural, sports, Pr, etc. There are also electives every semester so that students can experience various courses.

Hostel Facilities

5

If you are admitted here the college doesn't provide their hostel facilities. But some seniors have stayed in rented accommodations and PGs so the admin always shares their contact for help. And for tiffin services, there is a tiffin service just in front of the college and which also provides home delivery services.

Admission

The interested student has to choose a science stream. Appear for the NATA exam. Register and apply through the DTE Maharashtra CAP portal. Participate in the CAP round for seat allotment based on entrance score.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are understanding and do their best to make learning easy. There is a low faculty-to-student ratio which is better and there's personal attention given to each student. We are free to talk to the faculties anytime and even after college hours we can message them and they reply anytime.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the architectural course because I love designing buildings. The teachers were good, and there weren't too many students in each class. They knew a lot about architecture and taught us in different ways, like drawing and going to see real buildings. The exams were fair and not too hard, but you had to study. Overall, I liked the course and learned a lot about architecture.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
