Remarks
This is a type of college you get into if you haven't performed very well in AIEEE or if you want to just stay near your home. There are other colleges better in every aspect all over India. But, in Punjab, this is one of the good private colleges. The co

AIEEE. The admission process is via online counselling through the PTU. But the college has management seats as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course circcullum is really through and at par with the niits. The only thing that goes missing is the lack of excessive practical experience. Otherwise the electives and the mandatory subjects have almost the same syllabus as other University colleges.
Internships Opportunities
It does Swaraj, Wipro, senior India, hettich, hi-tech, IBM, Indian army, Mahindra, preet tractors to name a few. The stipend this year ranged from 6000 to 8500 pm for the 6 months internship students.
Placement Experience
Almost more than 300 different companies have visited the college over the past few years. The companies mentioned above have come for recruitment cum placement drives in which the job depends on the performance of the student during the 6 month training. Other than these, acc cement, Dell, blue star, Lloyd, Hyatt have visited this year. With packages not exceeding 3.2 lac per annum.
College Events
This is another lacking area of the college. In the 3 years I've been here no technical fest has been organized. Only a fresher is celebrated every year. And last year sports day was conducted. But other than that no technical or cultural fest has taken place. Take note that the college does organize Inter University sports events all year long.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is somewhat average. It expensive or not depends on the financialstatus of the student. For B.Tech :Semester fees - forty thousand rupees per semester Hostel fee (per semester) - Twenty eight thousand rupees (non ac double sharing) Thirty three thousand rupees (ac triple sharing).
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a scholarship available for SC/ST students whose parents have an annual income of less than 3 lacs. The students applying for this get 1.2 lac as scholarship. Also there's a fee waiver program for students who have scored good marks in 12th boards or AIEEE. These students are given fee waiver upto 75 percent depending on their marks.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is on the lower side with lesser female students. There are a lot of students hailing from bihar and utrakhand. Recently, the students have come from North-east India and a few students from Nigeria as well. There is no student Union in the college. The hostel parties are frequent and also the hostel sport events. There are not many clubs in the college the only ones being the Sae collegiate club and the robotics club and a few others. There is no discrimination amongst students of any kind. The authorities are very strict in this regard. In every corridor there is a banner with the contact details of the disciple committee which can be consulted in any regard and it is very strict in action.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are good and following are the things provided. Laundry Hot water, Wifi, Lan, Gym. The food given is also nice relative to the hostel standards in other colleges. There's no shortage of hostel seats. The college has 5 hostel premises
Alumni/Alumna
Quite many of the alumni is teaching in the college as junior/associate professors. Regarding the seniors, They are quite helpful depending on who we approach. But outside the college I'm yet to see a college pass-out helping out the fellow students.
Faculty
The faculty is not so knowledgeable. Atleast not in the mechanical department. With not so good basics in either the subject or spoken English. The faculty is mostly young males just passed out from college or pursuing their mtech. This is one area where
