Remarks

Overall it was good than other colleges of same level. In the city it was in top 5 engineering college.

I appeared in RPET exam score around 8000 rank and choose computer science as it has widest range of career opportunities.

Curriculum was average.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was offered in college itself and was just a formality nothing more than that. Students who got other other internship on their own, they got stipend. And in college we didn't got any stipend besides getting stipend we have to pay for that.

Placement Experience

Placement was good in comparison to other RTU college. But we were most unlucky as in that particular year only few companies visited and that too with a few openings.

Our college is best for that. No other RTU college can beat that. A lot number of events are held each year. You have a good chance to test your skills and talent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible and it is according to university guidelines. College don't have other fee structures than that. And they also have some other fees for extra courses.

Scholarships are available for students who need it. And our university also have a provision for that for top 10% student in each stream and each college.

Campus Life

Labs are opened for you 24x7 with good internet speed. You can get a good chance to furnish and improve your skills. And atmosphere for living is very good everyone is helping.

Hostel facilities are average. Food was above average and in comparison to other hostel it was good.

College seniors are very helpful and talented also. They can guide you for your career projects and other extra Curricular activities . And they teach u everything you need for college life.

Exam structure was as per university guidelines. They don't have any other specific pattern. But I'm university pattern is also almost good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the curriculam is good easily accesable and reachable and i have selected electronics only because i have interested in it from the very starting and the curriculam is good for me. Yes the curriculam helps to solve the real world probelm but not at all as most of it are theoritical and but some lab experiments and good. Exams are held every 2 months sometimes it become difficult to face the exams.

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

The ultimate guide to finding your dream college.

Admission process was direct. It was a very simple way to get admission as I had enough marks in my graduation.
