I choose that course because in this college the classrooms are fully digital and the opportunities of this course is endless and also i love engineering for this reasons i choose this course.

Campus Life

We have a nice campus life .festes are conducted on all even semesters,it includes department fest,arts fest, college fest, sports day etc.college has nss society and many other technical community like tinkerhub,gdsc,IEEE etc.Advay is the main college fest.very good library available which provides journals novals etc

Admission

Government of odisha s rule wise every Calleges allowed to admission through the Ojee entrance exam (only for inside the odisha,) JEE main, JEE advanced(, for all India) theses subject are PCB (physics, chemistry,math in this three subject cumpolsory to include in this entrance exams. Eligibility criteria to take the categorise wise , St,Sc- minimum 45%and OBC, General-minimum 60%to eligible for admission.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology is a government college but provides much more facilities like private colleges.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semesters students became eligible for college campus plcements. Companies visit to our college are vedanta, adani, tcs, jsw, infosys and many more. The highest package is 27 lpa and average package is 4 lpa. My plans after getting placemens is to become a software engineer.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th or 7th sem one can go for pre placement or internship their cgpa and skills are measured for this. There are a lot of good companies coming for placements in our college , companies like GOOGLE , AMD , Qualcomm, Amazon, oracle, ola , microsoft , apple etc comes with a higher offers There was a total of 1274 placement offers this year. The highest package of this year was 62.44 LPA and average package was 14-15 LPA The placement rate of Btech program was about 82.20 percentage . Also this year our college up ranked from 19 to 13th in engineering becoming the second best NIT in India
