Education Business

The management has seen college only in a business perspective. Now we can result of that, as I know college is in very bad condition now.

I have chosen this college based on the seats availability for my Rank in EAMCET. I am interested to join in the course ELECTRONICA AND COMMUNICATIONS. For my Rank in EAMCET and my interest I have chosen this college. This college is near to my residence compared to other colleges.

The course curriculum is really good. In the first year the syllabus for all the courses like EEE, ECE,CSE &IT , which helps us to understand the importance of other courses in our department. From second year we have semesters in which we have 6 subjects and min of 2 practicals which gives us a complete view of our course.

1.We don't have any internship in our college. So I don't have any experience in this regard to share with u.

1. Very poor placement opportunities. Hardly we have only one campus selection in our college by AIDTYA BIRLA SOFT in our final semester. 2. Few of us or got selected for it. But, later none of us got any call from Aditya Birla soft. We waited for 6months but no use.

1. This culture of celebrations and events in our college very less. Even we want to involve and conduct these events we never had any opportunity to make it happen. 2. Finally our class guys have taken an initiative and conducted a ECE event on the name of ECLATE.

The college fee is basically 2 types.one is fixed fee of 25000/- per year for all the students who came through the counseling process. And the second one is the management quota in which they can charge on their demand. But here the funny thing is, that time the management quota seats they sold for the only 10k due to lack of demand.

No such thing as scholarship in our college. One of my friend from EEE department named Ganesh Kota who scores more than 90% in all semesters. As he is from poor family he never get any scholarship. Presently he is working in ISRO.

As I told u before extracurricular activities are very less in our college. No events, or fests. No sports..no competitions...even we are interested but we don't have a scope. As I told u we don't have any experienced faculty or professor to handle such events. Gender ratio is almost 3:2(male: female)

Basically I am a dayscholar so I don't have any personal idea about it. But if we come to food, for both hostlers and dayscholar we have same canteen. The food is good. It's neither great nor worst. 2. Coming to hostel facility first two years everything went well, but slowly the management has stopped taking care of it any many students left the hostel and came out and started staying in rooms.

As we don't have any Freshers or other events our interaction with seniors is less. But we people stay in rooms where we have opportunity to meet our seniors and take their suggestions.

1. Out of four years of graduation, in first year we have exams on annually. I mean once in a year then after semester basis. For every semester we have 6 subjects. Normally labs are completed before main exams. Exams are not that hectic, we have enough time if we plan properly.

1. After 12th we have an entrance exam EAMCET to join in Engineering college. 2. Once we selected in entrance exam we have a counselling process. 3.In this counselling process we have an options of colleges and courses to select based on our EAMCET rank. 4. In that we need to select a college based on our interest.

1. The most disappointed thing in our college is Faculty. 2. We never had any experienced nor knowledgeable person for any subject throughout the course except for two subjects. 3. Most of our college faculty are Just passouts of B.tech. they have chosen this profession as an option but no with interest. Because that time they don't have any job opportunities outside in IT nor govt. Sector.
