ITM university: An honest tale .

The course curriculum was really good, it covered all the aspects of the optometry refraction course also they have included some course scope sessions which helped in know more about this course. The only problem I have noticed is, that they are mainly reliable on PPT and not books, they can push the use of books more for betterment. Exams are done on a semester basis. 2 midterms and 1 end-term every semester, also some practicals are included in all terms.

They provide intership in 4th year with minimum stipend of 2000 rs . With various hospitals, Ratan Jyoti, NRI , ASG etc . In optometry intership you go through various departments of optometry and learn all procedures by practicing.

For other courses, placement programs are there by 3rd year, but for our course, they provided an internship in 4th year. for optometry no visit of companies. 70% of students of other courses get placed. Job is the only plan for the next 3 years.

No increment in tuition fees between the courses. 5 lac rs were paid by me for 4year course. some special caste scholarships are there, also just because I belong to the general caste I applied for a merit scholarship and got 20 thousand off my 2nd year tuition fees. placement programs are done here in this university, for our course they provide internship with stipend.

ITM university is full of annual functions, celebrity nights, bone fire nights, and so much fun, even in the new year there is a huge celebration. In it there is one big library named Akshardham in the Sitholi campus, and also one small library in our branch. well-furnished classes along with projector classes. cricket, basketball, and other games are common playing games on the campus. Nss and Ncc are available at this university.

2 sitter room, one table chair, bed , almirah, mattress provided by hostel. hostel meal is not that tasty, it is average. you can easily get hostel , they have 4 girls hostel, so there is very less chances of not getting hostel. if you want to rent , you can rent near madhav nagar , or chetakpuri .

12th pass with more than 60%. you can find the application form online and pay online for registration. it you come under SC st categories, you can get some discount on tuition fees. in every semester 3 exams are done, 2 mid-term and one end-term. Difficulty is moderate for these exams. the admission process is good,

In optometry course, faculties were post graduate, not PhD only masters, but some guest faculty were there who took classes for optometry and they were doctors and PhD persons. So overall faculties all knowledgible enough to take classes .
