Remarks

The management is one of the best management. Sometimes there are some faults

Entrance Preview

I opted for this college because first of all, it is near to my house and secondly it os one of the topmost and best colleges of Bhubaneswar. Renowned people have passed out of this college and now hold very respectable positions in society. The teaching staff is very good as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum depends on the subjects. In my subject, it is very lengthy but friendly. I mean if a student studies everything every day he or she will be able to get good marks. But if you study in this college then everything will go easy as the staff will help you out.

Internships Opportunities

No. The college doesn't provide an internship. It actually depends upon the courses. There are no internship if you are perusing graduation

Placement Experience

1

There are no placements done here. If you are perusing graduation then there is no placement. You just get the graduation certificate. You can try for a job after graduation. But here they will make you perfect so that you can get a job. Because teaching is very good out here

College Events

2.5

There are no events celebrated. Only freshers and farewell are done. These are done separately by all departments. Sometimes some festivals are celebrated together. It is all done with contributions from the students. The more the contribution the best the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible as it is a government college. The fee structure is 2000 to 2500 for boys. And less for girls. It keeps on changing. There are no other expenses. The fees are taken online. But if a student has back in any paper then he or she has to give an additional 500 rupees. And for the disabled and visually impaired students, it's free.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there is a scholarship for students securing good marks. I have no idea regarding loan facilities.

Campus Life

3

Cricket matches, football matches, debates, essays, quiz everything is done regularly. The labs are in very good condition. Talking about the gender ratio it is somehow equal. There is no robotics. And there are other extracurricular activities as well.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facilities are separate for everyone. It cannot be said as the best but its ok. The food in the mess sometimes is not good. The girl's hostel is highly secured. But the hostels are nearby and the hostel officials are always ready to help. The

Alumni/Alumna

It varies. Sometimes seniors help out sometimes they don't. Some seniors are very good and polite but some are rude.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is Semester based. There are two mid semesters and two semesters. All the marks will be added in the final year. There are 6 semesters all total. There is a project in the third year. If one is unable to give a semester exam then he or she can give it next year.

Admission

It is all online. First of all the form has to be filled up on www.dheodisha.gov.in by providing all the necessary details of the candidate. Then it has to be submitted in SAMS center i.e Student Academic Management System Centre. After that, you just have to wait for the merit list.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty, The office staff are very friendly. The teachers are very friendly. They are available for the students every time. There is always a transparency maintained. The teachers help their students out during their problems. The students are always welcomed to ask any doubt if theirs.

Placement Experience:

The answer is a big and definite NO!! Campus placements have just become flashing cards for colleges to attract more students. They proudly say on their brochures (500 placed in Infosys,200 placed in TCS. .etc) as though it is a big deal. I think my answer is a bit biased since I studied in THE best engineering college in Karnataka, BMSCE Bangalore, but this can be extrapolated to other students too. For instance, let us take the example of three friends who studied MEchanical Engineering along with me. Let us call them Tom, Dick, and Harry. Tom and Dick were placed through campus placements in TCS in 2010. What happened to them 10 years from now.mechanical engineering so worked in a factory till 2016. Once he learned enough he started traveling and figured now was the time to follow his dreams ( his age was 25 and he did not have any financial obligations so he could quit). He started writing, and today lives peacefully in a village earning a respectable sum, writing content for anit

Course Curriculum Overview:

All were so amazing that there was no problem at all. The lecturers were so helpful and kind that whenever we needed any type of help, they were there always to help us. They didnt make any partiality between any students and the students were also very satisfied by them. Whether there may be curricular or extracurricular activities, in both they encourage us for taking participation. They also helped us in the time of our projects.
