Staff behaviour is great regarding anything or any doubt
Faculty is also very nice the campus is also very big with a good and clean canteen

The non teaching staff is very rude to us
The clerks at the office is also very rude they start yelling at us for any minute reason

Course Curriculum Overview :

The College is equipped with a high tech lab for us computer science students so that we can learn by hands on practical The exams are also regularly conducted with sternness and firmness ensuring no students do any malpractices or any means of cheating College can improve its curriculum by also bringing many other courses

Class Size : 129Course Fees : INR 38000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies offer internship in our college Even students from our college are employed at Google Many companies offer internship for the students in our college We are given projects such as app to develop fir our internal marks

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for placements from second year As far as fir now I don't know anything about the packages provided to students But our college provides packages as high as 10,00,000 After getting my degree I plan on doing my masters from here

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The current fees for BSC CS is 39,000 approximately It includes 25,000 as tuition fees 2000 for lab fees 200 for alumni association fee I'd card fee Library fee and many more making it a grand total of 39,000 Currently I got no campus employment as I am currently studying in Second year

Campus Life :

Many festivals are held in our college Namely Pongal Navratri English literary association festival Southern cultural association festival Books can be easily accessed by the Library provided in the college It has a vast variety on books on every topics

Admission :

The eligibility for the course is atleast 45% in HSC with maths Application forms,Fees structure, application dates all can be found in the SIWS College website (www.siwscollege.com) Exams are conducted twice a year On 2 semesters If studied well the exams won't be hard for you Admission process can be improved by making it fully online

Faculty :

The faculty members are very well educated for the post's they are at currently The teachers and sir are very much capable of solving out doubts The vice principal and principal is also very supportive regarding anything we want

Underated college for what its worth

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to choose software department in the future for job security reasons for which I had choosen this degree and the college provides me with a nice coverup for every skill needed in real-world jobs or internships. They also use presentations and various teaching techniques for students to apply their knowledge. Unit tests are also taken before the exams to account the amount of revision and focus to specific topics.

Only Naval academy with a college life exposure

The placement record is above average, however, the DG shipping of india strictly allows those cadets who do not have any backlogs in their previous semester examination to appear for placements. Students who have backlogs in their respective semester or previous semester are advised to clear the backlogs to appear for placement or recruitment drive.

As far as I know , this course is for research oriented students and 90% of students choose further studies over placements. How the Pillai college is ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are not too average and you will able to take the placement cell interviews after the 5th semester. The highest package is 14 lpa and the average package is 3 lakhs. 20% of the college students get a placement from the college which is not the very good number but it is the trust this college is not placements it is just form festivals and events.

Not so great college.

Entrance Preview:

JEE, CPCT i achieved positive scores not recalling the obtained marks as i had a year gap i only got admission in tilak college for bsc cs i had no other option.

Admission:

I basically took my mother with me for admission they had no cut off marks they gave us an admission form to be submitted with hsc n ssc mark sheets final procedure was DD for fees there was no objection sheet as well id card photo submission 2 of the photos.
