The curriculum is well managed and all the portions were completed within the time limit.Our college follows an outcome based education system and that is very helpful for the students.If asking about the areas of improvement,i will say practical skills in the college lab should be improved.Exams are done on regular basis.

The internships are provided in the kmct Hospital of ophthalmology itself and in nearby eye hospitals in calicut. And sometimes provided outside to calicut and kerala as well. Out of 1 year internship 6 months internship is compulsory in Kmct itself.

There is a total of 4 years(3 year academics and 1year internship).The 1st year fee is 1,18,000 excluding the examination fee.And the examination fee is nearly 2000/year.The 2nd year fee is 92,000 and the same in 3rd year as And the 4th year fee is b/w 80,000 to 90,000. Different scholarships are available and cast based grants are also available.

As we know it is a paramedical college,the college life is not much enjoyable as the arts college.Different programmes are conducted in the college in a year and all of them are really nice.All the festivals are celebrated.Annual arts and sports meets are also conducted regularly.The library consists of different books and journals.

A room is provided for 4 people with attached bathroom,4 tables and corts are provided. Meal is just an average level and sometimes below that.The facilities are not at all good according to the price.

Eligibility of the course is a minimum of 50% mark in 12th std.No cutoff entrance exams are conducted. Out of 30 seats 15 seats are management seats and other 15 seats are merit seats.The merit seat is based on lbs allotment.
