Course Curriculum Overview

I feel that BCom is the better option for post commerce and this is good in education and also multitasking. Exams here are pretty good offering 40 marks on internals and 60 marks on practical I think they should improve their way of the education system

Fees and Financial Aid

In Bcom our college is under Mangalore University having their university fees of around 6000-9000. And the rest is for college donation, which is around 24000 per annum. Colleges provide scholarship facilities like NEP and SSP for minorities.

Campus Life

4

College is pretty good, But when we compare it to other colleges there's something missing compared to them mostly events and games. Our Library has around 16000+ books available and there's no shortage of that. There are social groups that students run by themselves to donate to the students in needy.

Admission

During the admission process, there will one of the staff in entrance the college with the application, so there will be no big difficulty in finding the application There's nothing like reservation and others, they give a file of information about the college.

Faculty

4.5

Our teachers are so friendly with us and also they treat us like their children. Never feeling bored and annoyed. Even they conduct good events and games. Additional benefits for students like gyms etc

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
