Remarks

Our college had an environment which focuses to study and academic guidance. It promoted education and provide the facilities for the students. There are also available anti-ragging committee.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very interesting and the professors create an environment that encourages us to work by a professional. The exams are conducted to semester wise in evening or morning shift as per KUK University statement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of Bachelor in Architecture is 35000 rupees per semester and the total fee of this course is 350000 rupees. It is affordable for B.Arch students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship facility is available for SC/ST, OBC, BPL students. The loan facility is also available for students but the necessary documentation must be needed for that.

Campus Life

The campus environment is very friendly and flexible. The seniors are very helpful and friendly. There are celebrated every festival with great fun.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is good for both boys and girls but food for boys is not good and girls food is good. There are available also Gymnasium, power backup solution for 24X7, wifi connectivity, Double, Triple and Quadruple Sharing Rooms.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Admission

The admission is based on NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) score or valid JEE Main paper-2 score. You also should complete your intermediate examination. You can take the admission through online or offline both of that.

Reality Of DCRUST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to decide this course as it is a profit course with some creative thinking going on. The curriculum of the college does not prepare at all for the real world applications or further academic pursuits. The curriculum doesn't include what is latest in technology. For example we have few elective subject which we are not allowed to choose as the college does not have the faculty for those subjects and neither do they try to get the faculty for these subjects and say that you cannot choose this subject. The areas of improvement in course curriculum are a lot. The students teach better than teachers via their presentations. The teacher just sits idol in classes and give students a topic to give presentation and teach other kids. The exams are conducted semester wise which are not at all difficult. One just needs to go through previous year papers and he will pass with good marks. The internal marks are given by teachers on the basis of how much a teacher likes a student. the work you do does not matter at all for them.

Remarks:

On 23rd January, students of School of Architecture and Planning (SoAP) conducted their third SoAP day wherein the students of all three years (2014-2016 batch) exhibited their work. The event was inaugurated by our Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. D.K. Jha Sir. Deans, faculty members and students from all the Schools of the University attended the event. A soap carving competition was also organized for the students where in Dheeraj and Ishan of 2nd Year won the first and second prize respectively. The event was a great success and everyone appreciated and encouraged the students for their commendable work.
