Babasaheb Bheem Rao Ambedkar University Lucknow review

Curriculum is good till now. They are following new education policy. A lot of new subject are taught. Even syllabus of many subjects have changed like before in accounts they were teaching only companys accounts and partnership only in first year but now they have added specialized accounting which is helping us to keep up the going on treads. Curriculum is made such a way that most of students will get benifits while giving exams like ca, cs, banking exams etc.

One thing I will say that fees is just too much for central university. My semester fees is 15000 and same course fees in du is 7000 so fees is just too much. BBA fees is 25000. And even we are not provided with any other facilities because in bcom we don't need labs or computer labs ect. So there is no justification for charging such high fees. So I have calculated my over all expenditure on this course including hostel and mess charges it is near about 2 lakhs. Although fees is high but college is very helpful in providing studying Aids from loans to Schlorships. Mostly uttar pradesh Schlorship is provided and some other Schlorship through national Schlorship portal are available.

Campus Life is amazing. There are student run committees which organises various programs. Ranging from music shows, fashion shows to debates and finance and management programs. University celebrates the birth anniversary of Dr. Br ambedkar with great program held in University auditorium. A lot programs takes place in University auditorium inter College intra college. University has a very big play ground. Various sports programs also held in University. University also have gym. Library has various books it provides newspaper and magazine. Classroom have digital boards. Campus is very green.

Hostel is good many girls students are provided with hostel within the campus. Registration in done online for hostel. Then lists comes based on your merit. Every room have two tables Chairs and two beds and almira. Most of the hostel give two sitter rooms but now one or two hostels give 4 seater rooms. My hostel is good overall but there are problems mostly related to summers. No cold drinking water facility is provided. Water cooler do not work properly. Food is just okay okay. But repeated menus makes it very boring. But mess and hostel is very affordable.

Admission was done through cuet exam. In starting cut off is very high but gradually it goes down. University provides great reservation for St SC students. Everything was done online during the admission process only we have to give cuet exam on the centre rest of things were online. University calls for spot councelling in the end which is done on the main campus in Lucknow. One thing that I don't like was that merit list was announced very late. So we have to wait a lot.

Teachers are good even they are trying to bring good teachers day by day. Their qualification are top notched. Their teaching style is good. I always feared maths but their was a teacher he taught so well that all my doubts got cleared. Teachers are easy to approach. Mostly we interact with teachers in classroom but most of the teachers has given their mobile numbers and we can contact with them. Even they care of well of students. Teachers take good care of students where they are living and all so that no student suffer.
