Likes
- The surrounding and atmosphere of the college is really good for studing in group and individually. College also runs on the basis of their strict rules and regulations, discipline is maintained , their is protected environment necessary for students
- The pattern of college has changed to semester which is a good start to study the revised syllabus with new and interesting subjects. Various other activities are been taken at university level so that students can get more opportunity to show talent
- The teaching faculty as well as administrative faculty is really helpful and there teaching methods are understandable. The demonstration room and library has been upgraded for easy and quick learning. Computer access is free and available in clg hrs
Dislikes
- College hours are to lengthy which affects the mental stability of the students . As it gets difficult for dayscholars to travel for long hours and attend the lecture,it gets difficult for the students to complete their assignments and study.
- The syllabus complition and clinical hours must be completed on time so that self study can be done. Also assignment must be shortened. It feels like their are way to many assignments then actual days in semester pattern so that should be considered.
- Should arrange experienced outside faculty for specific subjects which are difficult for students to understand
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this curriculum as their are 2 subjects to learn in 6 months and it is degree course ofcourse which can help me to gain good knowledge of the course and help me get a good job in future as well as with a good clinic experience in an recognised hospital.
Internships Opportunities
The intership is for complete 6 months in deenanath mangeshkar hospital,pune as college has tieup with the recognised hospital setting. No stipend is provided but students get to interview in the hospital on the basis of interview the job is offered to them . College also offers Msc and PhD courses after graduation for the students for better opportunities in future and also to get a good chance to go abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes their is scholarship provided to the students on basis of their cet marks and their caste which will help the students financially as the college fees plus hostel fees and other charges are been put up . Their are various government as well as private scholarship for those who do not get scholarship due to specific criterias of college. Their is no campus employment given to the student but internship is been provided for complete 6 months .
Campus Life
Infrastructure of the college is good and comfortable. Freshers day for new students and week days for all the students in the college which is really enjoyed and refreshments are been provided . Various activities such as mehendi, rangoli, drawing, painting, fashion show is been taken and students are encouraged to participate in it . The availablity of the books in library is adequate and computer access is also available in the college. New projector is been installed in all new classes . Sports day is been conducted with various sports game and students involvement in it . Various anti ragging committees are been runned in the college and also students nurses association is been runned by students and some faculty members for guidance and their support
Admission
Admission process in the college is a very lengthy process as you all our necessary documents available with you and xerox of it for the admission the responsible administrative faculty helps the students to complete the admission process as it takes at least a day to complete it if you do not have necessary documents with you .
Faculty
The teaching faculty is well knowledged and has good clinic experience also they are authorised with degree and masters . They also teach the students with various other methods such as group discussion drama role play which is easyto understand the concept of that specific subjects.
