A review of Maliba Pharmacy College: Pros, Cons, and everything in between

The curriculum setup is according to the PCI and time table which is set is followed accurately. However they more focus on the presentations they prepare than on books. Syllabus is according to PCI approved but in many semesters the syllabus remains incomplete before exams. We have to do by self. Exams are conducted semester wise properly. Exam level is medoum. If you have studied or attended lecs properly you can score well in exams.

You can do internship after completing 6th sem in holidays. One month internship is compulsary to become eligible for degree certificate. They provide details of some companies where you can do internship. You can contact there directly. Some companies are Globela, omicron. They don't give stipend. In company you can work in various departments like QA, QC,.production etc.

Students become eligible from 7 sem for B.pharm and late 3 sem for M.pharm. Few companies come here for placements from baroda, ankleshwar, Sachin. Mostly Zentiva, Alembic, Globela this companies visit. Few students are placed annually. Avg package they get is around 2.5-3.5 lakhs mostly

According to me fees is high. It's around 87000 annually which means 3.5 lakhs for whole course but there are also many extra expenses like for practicals equipments, journals which cost high, event charges so overall around 3.75 lakhs average cost. If you are from surat or anywhere else far away, transportation charges are high. It can cost you around 30000 per year unless you ppt for government transportation. They provide scholarship to few but from last 2 years they are not providing. It is for UG courses

Here various events are organized regularly like Youth fest, Inter and intra various sports events, pharmacy day events and other festival events. They are organized well. University have central library which have many books available for studies. College also have its own library where books are givent to all students according to subjects for whole semester. Various sports events are held like cricket, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, kho kho, tug of war, carrom, chess etc.

For doing B.pharm you need to pass 12th in bio or maths. You also need to give GUJCET exam for admission through ACPC. However this college also gives direct admissions especially to other states students as I was. You just need to fill application form, fees is 1000. By direct admission it is very easy they handle all the things. Through ACPC it's based on merit.

Faculties are good here and enough. I think the ratio is around 1:25. They are well qualified. The faculties are well experienced and are also experienced in research. They have good nature. You can ask any queries whenever you want they solve problems nicely. Overall environment between students and facilities is good
