Dentistry is a practical oriented feild that's what influenced me the most. Once your practical skills are well developed you can earn in lakhs. The course so far as provided me with equal opportunities to expose myself to clinical and research work. The internal exams are conducted twice a year with a gap of 2 months and they also conduct a prelim exam 2 months before the main university exam. The course should focus a little bit on the mental health of the students that's the only improvement I would suggest. The exam frequency is good and the difficulty level is high which is understandable because you are preparing to be a doctor.

The college provides compulsory internship to every student after final year. You are posted in every department to gets the exposure of all types of patients. This intership helps to know well about what branch suits you well.

Dentistry is a little expensive , we have to spend around 5 lakhs per year including the tuition fees hostel, mess and other extra expenditures. But the according to the investment on return is really good in dentistry. If you are a bright student who has scored good marks in NEET entrance exam you will definitely get scholarship.

The annual event is held in the month of may which is conducted by our interns. The name of the event changes every year. The library is accessible till college hours. All the books needed for the course are provided in the library. The students are exposed to every sports and cultural activities.

The hostel facility on a scale of one to ten is a 8 for me. The hostel is beautiful and spacious but the only problem according to me is the water accessibility . The rooms are spacious with 3 students per room. You are allowed to decorate the rooms as you want. The fees according to me are affordable for and middle class student. The hostel is in the college premises only. The meals provided are so far the best part of hostel life. The food is really good.

For the eligibility criteria you have to have a score above 300 to get in a decent dental college. You can can find the application dates on the official website of NTA as it conducts the entrance exam for all the medical and dental colleges in India. I personally belong to general category the only reservation I got was through EWS.

The faculty to student ration is really good according to me. The teachers are qualified with a really good experience in our field. They guide us in building a good career in dentistry. They provide exposure to every aspect of dentistry be it clinical or research work. The teachers are a little strict and they want you to be disciplined and all the work asked to do should be done on time. They in short teach you to be a punctual doctor. That is what the field demands.
