Life in LNCT

In my opinion, college is overall good though it was expensive. And if you are willing to study, you will get many opportunities to bloom.

Since this is one among the private colleges in central India with a good reputation, so everyone preferred me to opt for this one. Also, it is one of the oldest private colleges. It has the best teachers compared to any other private colleges and in the context of discipline, the faculty is really strict specially OSD.

In my opinion, the Course curriculum was really bad. Since LNCT is affiliated to RGPV university so it follows there course curriculum. Syllabus of every subject is so easy that one should have to prepare extra for himself. And every semester there will be a subject which is not related to your stream but you have to study that for the exam.

No, LNCT does not provide any internship for students but it refers the students to other companies to do internships and the stipend and experience depends on that company.

So placement is something that everyone counts before taking admission in any college. And this is the best facility of this college. This college really has some nice placement opportunities. The only important thing is if you are eligible then you will surely get placed in any company. But approx 90% of companies come seeking for CS, IT and EC students. Other branches do not get many placement opportunities.

One of the things that LNCT is good is holding events. Many events are organized like tech fests. Srijan is one of biggest tech-fest that is organized. And every Event is held that you can think of like rangoli competition, debate, coding completions, singing and dancing competitions etc. Fresher's party is organized for first-year students every year.

Talking about fee structure, it is really expensive for me but in comparison with private colleges of other states, it is affordable. The semester is approximately 45000 rs. Including extra charges like library changes and others. But as usual it is a private college, it will find every way of earning. I think it's expensive.

College provides scholarship facilities under government schemes. Those who are eligible for scholarship get their scholarship after submitting the application in the scholarship department of the college.

The campus of the college is quite big in the context of the area. Every type of lab is provided for practicals. The workshop is there. Many competitions are also held from time to time for us by seniors. But in the first year, no one is allowed to meet seniors due to security reasons. Ragging is negligible. And the gender ratio is 50:50. Everyone is given equal opportunity.

Hostel facilities are not so good as the rooms are small and congested. Two students living in a single room. It does not have a separate bathroom for every room which is the worst thing. But the hostel is cleaned regularly. Also, the warden is too strict regarding discipline. And talking about the mess, I think you'll eat the worst food of your life in this hostel every day. Hostel fees are approximately 65000 rs for a year. And the hostel is provided for first-year students only.

Seniors are helpful and they regularly organize many competitions, tech fests etc. They are supportive. And interacting with them gives knowledge about how to manage studies and future plans.

Exams are really easy in this college. You don't have to prepare for exams from the start of your semester, you can start preparing for exams before two or three weeks and you will score well. In practicals, viva is taken by teachers from other colleges but they are also a piece of cake.

After passing 12th, as usual, I gave JEE Main exam and I scored 81 marks out of 360. Then I visited the DTE counseling site of MP through which one can take admission in colleges of MP. I registered there for counseling and filled the preference of my colleges. On the date of counseling, I got LNCT, Bhopal. Then I had gone to verify my documents to Jabalpur. And at last, I came to college to take admission with all documents and admission fee.

The faculty was quite good as this college have some best teachers compared to other private colleges. They are supportive and helpful. If you really needed help in studies, they will always be ready but if and only if you are sincere towards studies. Though some faculties may be the exception, otherwise faculty is really good.
