Remarks

This college is good compared to other colleges. Only thing is that expenditure is more for an in this college.

Entrance Preview

Generally, this college has good infrastructure as well as best placement records compared to other colleges in Chennai. This college is near my house in Ramapuram. It is in the city so no location problems. More than this I love to do instrumentation engineering in this particular college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Very lengthy classes but easy only exams and assignments are happening daily. A good method of teaching. Good experience. The staff does not have much knowledge. But the environment of the college is great. But the sole purpose studies. For that, it is a dump. The method of teaching depends upon the faculty. It may be through ppt or some interactive sessions.

Internships Opportunities

Yes.actually they will allow you to attend the internships in various companies but only thing is that they won't give u On duty..U will mark absent. This can cause a huge problem later.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are good at my college as long as you don't have any arrears. Those who have arrears will have difficulty to get placed in the core or IT company. Top IT companies do not accept more than 2 arrears. The IT companies with lesser package and BPO are the options for such students. Others have a great chance of getting themselves placed in IT or core as per their wish. For IT, CSC, ECE, EEE, E&I, there are many opportunities.

College Events

3.5

U can't say that there are not enough events celebrated in this college because every year around 10 main events is conducted. Events like TALENTIA SYMPOSIUM SWAGAT etc. But the main thing is that the college collects money from u to conduct the event.students from 1st year to final year can participate in all events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure increases every year. Depending upon the mode of admission your fees vary. If u come through management u have to pay every year twice the fees of normal mode admission fees structure.2015 when I joined fees was feasible but now it's entirely expensive both the hostel and academic fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

They won't provide you with loans from college. U have to get it from private or govt banks. Scholarships are provided but u have to ask them continuously then only they will respond you.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is pretty much good. There is an equal number of boys and girls in each class. There is always a good bond between everyone. Labs are well maintained and clean. Every department conducts a cultural event every year called symposium and it will be useful for all the students. Many clubs are there like ROTARACT AND YRC. Students can join in any of these.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Staying in hostel cost u around 1.5 lakhs per year and this rate increases every year. Hostel rooms are compact and not many luxurious rooms. But the current cut problem is not here. Hygiene Foods are provided so no problem. Mostly north Indian foods are supplied in the night.

Alumni/Alumna

In this scenario, our college is the best. They support us more. yearly they invite all passed out students for cultural events like symposium and etc.

Exam Structure

Tests are kept every day in college in the first period. These tests are small and in one semester totally three continuous assessment test are kept. Based on these results your internal marks will be decided on your university exams. U have to get a good score in this or else u have a chance of getting arrears.

Admission

I got this college through management quota. There are 2 ways of getting into this college. One is management quota and govt counseling. If you are planning to get into college through management you have to contact the college before the college starts. They will ask u donations in lakhs based upon the department you select.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty members are good and help the students whenever required. They are qualified and knowledgeable. But teachers will be in a hurry to complete the portions, so students have to wait after college to get their help. The teaching methods are mostly board but sometimes they take seminars and use projectors. The student-faculty ratio would 10:1. The industry exposure was limited. Mechanical and civil had good industry exposure and we lacked in that. The course curriculum was useful.
