Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Since, this is a professional course so input in thus course should be more on from the student's side. But , yes faculties are always there to support whenever we need a guidance. Apart from the theory part the clinical knowledge that faculties have is just amazing. And the best part is that they encourage us to handle the patients, take their history, study the diagnostic reports etc. indepently. This boosts our confidence a lot.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure again depend from college to college. Like government and government aided colleges are less and affordable. While private colleges fees are variable which might not be affordable for some students. Scholarship are available in every government and government aided colleges. Also, this helps lower the financial burden. The fees structure however is very much reasonable in my college. As I am studying in a government aided college. Apart from tuition fees there are other charges like, library fees, hostle fees(for those who live in hostle), gymkhana etc. Campus employment is available during internship. After completion of the course it's compulsory to do an internship for 1 year and a good amount of stipend is also granted.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is very good. All round the year we have many events, like cultural, sports events, different festival celebrations, and fests as well. For social services we has NSS unit in our college, and the unit organises many drives like, organ donation awareness, health checkup camps, etc. The other facilities like librarary, gymkhana, sports room all are well equipped with instruments. The classrooms have projectors, speakers etc . All which are required for a complete learning.

Admission

The eligibility for medical courses is NEET examination. In NEET entrance exam one should score pretty good rank to get into a good government and government aided college. But if one fails to score the next option is private college. The cutt-off varies every year and it also caries from state to state. The admission procedure however is very tedious. Once through online counselling you are alloted a college you need to reach the college in stipulated time with all the necessary documents.

Faculty

4.5

Well, faculty differ from college to college. But seeking an overall review the faculties of this university are excellent. They teach well as well as the main teaching I.e clinical teaching is also on point. The faculties are well educated and expedited, and interaction with them is pretty good. They solve all our doubts, and even share their clinical experiences like, the kind of patients They have treated etc.

As an ambition of becoming a doctor and serving society, I opted for this course. faculty to student ratio is quite high with more than 6 professors per subject and about 10 for each department. qualification of faculty is minimum MD in the respective subject. timely exams are taken but if you study regularly no worries about getting passed with good marks.
