Course Curriculum Overview

It is the best possible course you can choose. You have a total of 10 modules to pass with 74 percentage pass mark. It's a course of 2 and half years with 5 semesters. Exam are conducted every month in the particular exam centres with the allotted fees. As aviation is a growing industry and my passion for aviation is the reason behind my choice. Training on authorised airlines and mro' s are scheduled for every semesters.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 750000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available for merit seats, single child and many more. We have two streams. Avionics with 75 k per semester and machanics 90 k per sem excluding the hostel facilities. The exam application amount will be refunded if we pass with a 100 percentage. Exam expenditures are personal. College pays for mro training but the travel and accommodation should be done by the students. Best performed students are rewarded by the college. College also helps us with loans and other bank facilities

Campus Life

College conduts college day, sports day, Christmas, Onam and Pongal celebrations yearly. Every morning a particular class will be doing assembly. We have ncc and nss. College consists of a library with all the required story books and reference books for the required subjects and course. We have the best lab facilities that enhance anc makes study much more easy. Every classrooms has white boards and projectors.

Admission

All the details are provided in the college website. The contact number will be given in which we can contact the authorised person. Student can come to campus and can directly take the admission without any delay. Different modules have different exam timings and difficulty levels

Faculty

Teachers and very well educated and are ready to clear doubts at any time. They provide us with all the required study materials and guide us through our examination preparation. They are friendly and supportive but also strict at the same time.

The stream is very good and the best choice i had done I think Praticels should be some more good than theory classes The curricullam prepares a best among us. The course is a wonderful programm this course can get a better life for us

A Helpful Guide to the AME COURSE of Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Science

Placement Experience:

From the 5th Semester the students are eligible for placements There are a no. Of companies which take placements such as Air India, Airworks, GMR aviation, Indigo, Airforce, etc.. The average package for this particular course is around 20k per month the reason being you are basically a fresher with no experience at all 98% of the students receive placements every semester My plan is to work in India for 2 years to get the required experience time and then move to a job abroad as fast as possible

My Personal and Honest review on HIET

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was passionate about aircraft and technology. So technically oriented works. Faculty to student ratio is great as most of the staff are ex-Air forces so no need of thinking about the faculty. As faculty is from ex- airforce they have sound knowledge and practical knowledge. (Note: but may be of other sorts of aircraft like defense supersonic) term exams were so perfect timely maintained and exams were somehow difficult. But as per the DGCA norms set down in CAR-66 now. Basic Maintenance Training Organisation.

A Helpful Guide to the AME COURSE of Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Science

I did enquire and almost applied to Hindustan institute of engineering and technology (HIET) which had the same course The reason is choose this college is because when I enquired to students who are studying and who have previously studied at HIET .... I got to know that HIET had a really low passing percentage whhich is 30-40% and they're teaching is quite bad and the course was not really practical oriented and mostly concentrated on theory based learning The admission process was really really smooth as me and most students where helped out by a proffeser UDAYKUMAR sir who helped us understand the course and structure very well and helped us ease through our admission process The basic eligibility of this course is that you must have studied Maths, Chemistry and Physics in your 12 th grade or if you took a diploma it should be engineering based The good thing is the course doesn't require any entrance exam which is a huge positive...Read More
