What Students Say
Likes
- Infrastructure was comparatively better than nearby competitions. Well provided library, hostels etc.
- Transportation service is good, with transportation upto 40-100kms too.
- Teachers were well educated and knew how to teach upto my class. Upcoming faculties are not that good.
Dislikes
- Too much issues of attendance . Even when you go daily, somehow you got low attendance. It needs to be improved.
- No placement from the college, no support from the placement committee. We all had to run ourselves to get internship and placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course is extensive, with exposure of everything required for the job world. Assesment part is awesome here, and you would be going to postings to learn about it. Improvement needed in the practical areas, and could be better. Exams were yearly at that time when I was in college, but now has changed to semester system. Exams were moderate in nature.
Internships Opportunities
No internship opportunity from the college, and in hospital of the university too, we had to pay fees to get internship. College didn't help in getting internship. Instead of giving stipends, they took money from us.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees was 49,500 per semester at my time, and exam fees was 6000. Unnecessary amount of 3000 were taken from us after our internship on the name of Viva (which shouldn't be taken). Scholarship from central and state government could be taken, and forms were provided from the college. No campus employment, or placement.
Campus Life
Overall campus life was good. Freshers party, farewell party, sports day for physiotherapist, and such other function were done every year. Every 4th year, a programme with celebrity happens in the university. Library was good with good accessibility. No social groups etc. are prevalent in campus, and it's avoided by the university.
Admission
No such cutoff or such, exam on the name of formality were taken. You can apply online for the course or can go directly. No reservation benefits. Admission process is simple, not much issues. But the intake of students are too high.
Faculty
Faculty to Student ratio was too high, and faculty was not able to focus on everyone. MPT students taught us classes sometimes, even freshers started to teach final year students. For the interaction part, it was not much of an issue, anyone can interact with the teacher anytime, and may call and even go to staff-room to meet up.
