BTech biotechnology is 4 year programmes and it's an amazing field to go in research areas. Internal examinations of 30 marks are held every 30-45 days and held two times in a semester whereas semester exams of 70 marks are held after every six months. Fees for my programmes is 80k per year but you get various scholarships too. Exam difficulty level is moderate and if you have paid attention in classes you can easily score good marks.

Many companies approach our college and for biotech field many vaccines companies, research companies like serum biotech, pharma research laboratories and many more approach and offer stipend starting from 20k per month. Their main work is to focus on the research area and genetic engineering techniques.

From 4th year students become eligible for college placements . Companies starts approaching towards end of 7th semester and almost 45% students get good placements of around 5-6lpa in starting with good companies offered. I am preparing for gate so I would like to pursue mtech from IIT .

Fees for B.Tech biotechnology is 80k per year but I was offered 100% scholarship for first year based on my 12th board examinations marks but from second year fees is 80k per year. During 4th year paid internships also start ranging from 20k per month to 25k per month.

Campus Life is amazing, you get everything you want in the campus itself. Either the restaurants like le Gabrielle, vista costa, and much more . Fests like spardha( sports meet) is organized during march- April and DJ night for one month during freshers month . Campus Life is just amazing.

Admission process was quite smooth though. You just bring all your documents and fill the application form and your interview is taken up by a faculty member and then it's done just complete the formalities and it's done. Just be prepared with your documents and prepare for interview confidently.

Faculties are amazing and they are mostly from IIT and have done PhD in their respective fields. They help us in providing details regarding internship opportunities as well as motivates us to prepare for competitive exams like gate and provide us material as well. They are very friendly and supportive.
