Overall experience about hostel and parul university life

During exam times, a bit of hard work is required for studying, but the faculties here are quite helpful, so we face fewer difficulties. Exams are conducted here semester-wise according to the course. For example, in BBMS, there are separate exams for each semester held monthly. If you are considering Parul University, it would be a great option for CSE BTech, and if you want to pursue an MBA, you can also do it from Parul University. The design course seems to be the most attractive to me; the faculty in the design department is highly knowledgeable, and the same goes for BBA.

If you are a student from the Gujarat board or a Gujarati student, you will be eligible for scholarships, and students from reserved categories will also receive reservation benefits. You can apply for scholarships during admission or even in the second year, and they are awarded based on your percentage. The fee structure is quite affordable, especially if you are pursuing a three-year BBA program. The total fee for three years would be 5 lakh, but it may vary for different programs. Similarly, if you want to apply for BTech, the fee would be around 1,00,000 to 1,20,000 per year.

Parul University organizes and celebrates various cultural festivals, welcoming students from all regions, including South, North, and even foreigners. Festivals like Holi, Diwali, and Dussehra are celebrated here. The campus life at Parul is vibrant; I have experienced it for two years. The campus is well-maintained, with excellent arrangements for cleanliness and food. The water quality is good, and I find the food in the mess satisfactory. Additionally, there are facilities like rooftop dining available above the hostel, which remains open until 11:00 PM. In case you feel hungry at night and have nothing to eat, you can go up there and have something. Laundry facilities are also available; laundry service comes twice a week, so you can give your clothes for washing. There is also a library provided, including a common library and departmental libraries, where you can study according to your preference.

At Parul University, admission is provided directly if you apply for BBA, BTech, or any other bachelor's degree. Admission is based on your percentage; if you have a 50% score, you can easily get admission as there is no specific cutoff. Being a private college, admission is readily available. If you belong to the SC, ST, or OBC category, you may receive some reduction in fees as per reservation norms, and scholarships will also be provided based on your percentage. So, don't worry too much about your percentage; you will get admission with at least 50%.

The teachers and faculty members at Parul University are not only helpful in academics but also provide guidance for life outside of studies. You can seek advice from them beyond academics and they offer valuable insights into personal life. They not only teach but also provide excellent guidance. All faculties, from B.Tech to BBA, are well-trained, and the university has hired highly competent professors.During exam times, they provide significant assistance and also offer extra classes. At Parul University, you can even opt for coaching sessions with the teachers if you feel the need.
