Life at Bhavan's Vivekananda college (as a life science student :)

I'm pursuing BSc-Bt.G.C (Biotechnology, Genetics and Chemistry). There's a good scope for this course.but our college mostly doesn't have placements for life sciences. but the subject syllabus is good. It even helps in preparing for further entrance exams. exams are a bit difficult. but it all depends on our preparation. even the scoring process is good. we will be having 6 semesters. each semester has 2 internal exams and 1 sem exam.

tuition fee is reasonable compared to other colleges. its approximately 52000/- per year the tuition fees..(they may vary). we dont have scolarship facilities. We dont have stipends. some government scolarships are provided.

Good campus life. Students Really have a lot of oppurtunities for growth. fests and events are less. library facilities are good. classroom facilities are also good but infrastuctures ahld be more renovated. sports are really good in our college. we are having good student clubs. Even student services like NCC, NSS, YRC AND BSG are available. the experiences are really good.it all depends on us actually. i like a peaceful environment and even seniors are friendly. Canteen is a must place to visit and try food there. Not all are good but good experience. transport and hostel facilities are not available in college. transport is in your way. and hostels are available near the college. but this college experience is a worthy experience for me. Learning, desciplined and fun together.

eligibility is to be a passed out student of 12th grade. eligibility may vary from course to course. all the application informationn is available on the website only..they open up soon after the 12th results are passed out. do check the college website for it. there are no entrance exams. direct admission followed by the availability of seats and counselling. Even the contact facilities are good for admissions. admission process is good.

Faculty members are highly educated and well experienced in their fields. They teach us with all the facilities available like ppts, practical experiments, chalk & board, etc. Even the interaction with them is good..we can clear our doubts, and the class ratio for 50 members each class...teaching sessions are mostly interactive only. They even guide us for our career doubts..they suggest good things. They even clarify our class doubts properly.
