Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is RGPV based. It helps us to gain practical as well as theoritical knowledge which helps us to gain industrial knowledge. The exams are helf 3 times per semster. 2 times mid sem exams are held and 1 time final exam in held.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the b.tech course is 72000 per annum. Bus services are provided on charge.Various government scholarships are provide throughout the year. I was rewarded TFW on the basis of the jee mains score

Campus Life

Various fests and events are organised regularly in my college.Extra curricular Competitions like dance, music , debate , etc are often held. While technical events include hackathons , coding contests , etc

Gnerally , admissions are on the basis of 12th score and JEE mains. People will decent score in 12th are admitted easily. but students who have a good score in jee mains are into advantage.As i got the scholarship on the basis of my jee mains score

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
