Course Curriculum Overview

Courase curriculum was in accordance with affliated university UPTU. But for practical exams no standards were followed. We prepared only files during lab sessions. Most of the machines and instruments were outdated ,not working. We just noted down the reading from seniors old files already kept in labs.

Internships Opportunities

There was no support for Internship from collEge. Training and placement department just provided Internship letter as a proof. After that we had to look for some link to get some place for internship.

Placement Experience

For placement college has collaboration with one IT company TCS which sometimes comes in college premises and sometimes calls in some nearby another college campus. Apart from that few local core companies (Electrical, Mechanical ) visit with salary in the range 10-12 k per month. Students have to look for pool campus or some sites.

College Events

Fresher Party is celebrated every year. In every semester 2-3 technical and cultural events were arranged, where there were good opportunity to learn and share who had interest and a record in that field.

Fees and Financial Aid

Education Loan was approved without any obstacle from all the govt and private banks. Scholarship provided by state govt. But in form submission and other things they used to make discrepencies due to which a good percentage of students form were rejected and they did not get any scholarship. And every year they asked 5000-8000 rs as donation to get scholarship. They said it is oaid to government authorities.

Exam Structure

Internal exams were transarent,not a single paper ever leaked. Copies were checked sincerely. Internal marks given were solely based on ones performance and outlook in class.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
