Nashik's best engineering college - K. K. Wagh

My electrical engineering course is very much related to the industry knowledge and practical based learning. In college, we were also provided with courses that help us to become industry ready and useful in jobs. That's the reason for good placements here. The teachers are very experienced and qualified. Now, that the college has become autonomous, the syllabus is made as such to make students a good engineer.

There is a compulsory internship of 1month for every student in the middle of 3rd year. College has the list of companies with which they have tie ups. These one month internships are not paid. Apart from that, some prestige companies also come to K. K. Wagh for providing internship opportunities they provide stipend upto 30000rs per month. K. K. Wagh has tie ups with many companies to provide their industrial experience with students.

The training and placement cell of K. K. Wagh is really good. Students get training for every exam that happens in placement process, one on one mock interviews, cv writing workshop, mock aptitude tests and so on. In my class, apart from those who want to join family business, every other student is placed in multinational companies with really good package. Even though there was recession in market, my college has good placement. For students who want to go abroad for higher studies, they also get guidance about scholarship, living and our college aluminus contacts.

The total fees for my batch are 125000 where 13679 is the development fees and the remaining is the tution fee. Rs225 is the mediclaim. There is Maharashtra government's scholarship for those who belong to categories other than the general one. For SC, category, there is complete scholarship, the students from SC, ST category have to pay only the mediclaim of Rs225 every year. College staff helps students for filling up the scholarship form and make sure that every deserving candidate get the scholarship. Also, college staff help financially weaker students get scholarships from the private organisations.

Maffick is the biggest annual festival of our college which last for 4 days. Apart from that, we celebrate Ganesh festival every year in college. K. K. Wagh cha Raja is very much famous. Our college arrange national level competitions like IET Karmaveer Expo. Inter college and inter department competitions also take place in our college. There are many clubs like ISTE, Elite club, IEEE, Brahmastra for co and extracurricular activities.

If you are taking admission after 12th, the entrance exam is MHTCET, you have to enter the college in the admission form wishlist and if you have sufficient marks then you can get the admission. The same is with the diploma candidates. There's also a management quota available. To take admission through management quota, you have to visit the college.

The faculty members are highly qualified professionals, they have done PhD in their respective fields. Also, they are excellent in teaching. I'm an electrical engineering student, so for electrical engineering staff I would say they are really good. They not only teach well but also help students in writing research papers and prepare them for conferences, competitions, etc.
