Pros or Cons of getting into a private university

In the starting 1st yr of my graduation, the subjects were not that relevant but after 1st yr the course is on track and there are proper classes and practical labs conducted on regular basis. Timings of exams are mostly adjusted according to the course . It could be in the morning 9 to 12 or in the afternoon 2 to 5 which is convenient for any student .

Companies do offer opportunities in all the sectors . Medical have better placements in Nims University . Students have to do minor and major projects in the final year of their graduation and medical students do their internships and training continuing their education here .

College placements are on an average level . As a btech student the placement varies from 6 to 10 lakhs on an average and good profiles can get upto 15-20 lakh per annum . But I can say that if u want to continue in medical sector , Nims University can provide u with great placements opportunities.

There is scholarship availability in the campus which they provides for the 1st years and they do promise that it will continue in the future if student performs good in the academics , But i faced the issue as they didn't continued my scholarship even after getting up to mark academics . There is a high increase in tuition fees for the 2023 batch as comparision to 2022 batch . Complete cost for my education is around 8 lakhs which inculdes tuition fees , hostel fees , examination fee which goes per semester , per year sports and extra curriculum charge of 5000 .

The campus life is on 10/10 . Superb fests experience I can say with lush greenery and they also spend money to invite filmstars which can be a great thing to attract students Mostly books are available in the library and issue period ranges from week to 10 days . Nims is famous for its sports week which is held every year named as Nims Sparadha Sport event where different college teams of Nims University compete for the trophies in different sport games.

3 seater Non- AC and AC rooms are available with prices 100000 and 125000 respectively . Meal quality is much better than any other mess of other hostels as they provide 4times meal a day and it also includes Tea and lemonade in the snacktime during summer season and coffee during winter . Hostel registration is done simultaneously with college admission . There are numerous pg's nears the campus but my personal choice is to go for the hostel life if the student can afford for it .

The admission process was pretty simple and any student can opt for any course here without any minimum requirement in academics . Application form can be easily found on website of Nims University, Exam level varies from intermediate to hard . The area for improvement in the admission process is to guide students completely for the process as after the admission it could be difficult for the student to manage the time between classes and fulfilling the formalities in the student cell of the college .

Faculties are highly qualified .They have completed their educations from IIT's and also have a work experience of many years that makes them well qualified to teach students in every aspect. There is no limit of interaction between the students and teachers as they are very supportive and students can call them or meet them as per their needs.
