Course Curriculum Overview
I was a medical student, obviously didn't opt for neet. I chose psychology because I was intrigued by the subject in my 12th standard. We have internships at the end of every year and have to create a report that gets graded. The internships provide us with the practical knowledge in the particular field. Some go to NGOs others opt for hospitals or clinics, so there's a variety of options one can choose from. The exam season is quite hectic as everyone says. We have no idea when we're sleeping or waking up.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee varies for every course, there's no standard fee. For my course the fee is around 60000-75000 per semester, and the hostel fee is 12000 for the AC block per year. There are scholarships and financial aids available
Campus Life
The university hosts a fest every year which is quite an unsaid rule of colleges. Other than that we get dj nights, and other events which are hosted by respective clubs. The clubs are very welcoming for new members. For the library, there are a ton of books and journals available. The university has an active sports club as well.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility for me to be honest was quite underwhelming. I was not expecting this small of a room. I opted for the AC room and it is shared between 2 people. You can choose or change your roommate if they're okay with it. The room is quite average, they provide you with a twin bed with a mattress, a desk, chair and a cupboard. You can apply for the hostel either via amizone or apply when you visit the campus.
Admission
The admission process was fairly easy. I applied for the course after my 12th result was out and the only condition they had was that you must score above 50% in your 12th board exams. The application process starts from april-may for new students.
Faculty
So my classs' strength is 73, which is quite a lot and often makes it difficult for the faculty to interact with each student but regardless we have hardly faced any difficulty in the same. If you have a doubt regarding something you can ask it in the class or one can always go into the faculty rooms and the teachers are always to help.
