- Really nice hostels, hostel environment, hostel food and 24/7 open hostels make it really easy for us to explore the campus in the night time.
- Really interactive and positive culture activities and thus university is really fir the students, by the students and of the students.
- 8 cafes inside the campus and 2 shopping malls that provide you with almost every basic necessities you want.
Dislikes
- The management is really dumb and needs to worked upon as the processing of small functions take a lot more time then expected.
- Infrastructure is really good but the classrooms are not equipped with AC.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is nice , the students who want to develop are developing their skills and get promoted and rewarded in many ways but the students who are least bothered about their development are good for nothing like every other University.
Placement Experience
For now that I've experienced the placements are high and you can easily get placements in the last or the second last sem . Sun pharma, Tata, hero motocorp, lenskart , dr. Lal path labs etc. and many other companies come to hire the eligible candidates. The highest package is 1.2 Cr and the avg. Package is 4-5 lakhs as per my knowledge. Percentage depends on the kind of batch , it only depends on the students and the skill set they possess. My plans are going for further studies maybe pharm D or MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available on all the non- medical courses based on their 12th board percentage or the last competitive exam given. And there're only a few scholarships given to medical courses which have low admission rate for eg. Forensic science etc. But there's no scholarship in courses like pharmacy, nursing etc.
Campus Life
The campus and the infrastructure is really nice and big like the university has 25+ golf karts to move around the whole university . The books and journals are updated every year based on the needs of the students. Classrooms are well developed but the only con is no ACs in the classrooms. There are sports fests, intercollege competitions and many college teams are there , there's a dedicated gym that has world class facilities and every sport has it's own dedicated space or field. There are many student run group and communities that indulge students to work for the their own development and development of the society as well.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are the USP of this University, the hostels literally looks like some kind of 4 star hotels that have a 24/7 open facility, rooms are airconditioned and there is 24/7 availablity of hot and cold water. There's a balcony in every room. There're 4 meals in a day and the menu of the whole month is transferred on the dedicated WhatsApp group and the food is more than okay and sometimes really really good. With hostel you get the mess and the laundry services free or you can say laundry and mess are included in hostel services, the rooms are cleaned on daily basis by the house keepers. The PGs are also available in the area and the nearby areas also but according to my opinion the hostel is a better option.
Admission
There's no such entrance exam there, you just have to fill the application form either online or offline and submit the admission fees and 30% fees of the desired course to confirm your seat in the college , basically it's a pay to win , whosever completes the payment of their course first gets the admission. For the application form you can go on Google search NIMS University and the first link will take you to the online application form for Rs. 800 and for the application fees it's just 5000 INR.
Faculty
The faculties in the campus are really good and they help you with everything they've got and give you a world class experience in every field you want , but you can only grasp these things if you're interested in developing skills, because the university and colleges themselves introduce many skills developing competitions .
