NATA is the exam required to enter a B.Arch course, and I scored 108 in this test .I chose this over all other courses as it has a lot to do with both creative and analytical thinking and I have a passion for both. Admission happens through counselling held by JNAFAU, Hyderabad.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is parallel to those in international colleges. The subjects and electives covered are well in sync with requirements for Master's degrees abroad.Three electives are to be chosen in the fourth year - two in the 7th semester, and one in the 8th.
Internships Opportunities
Our college does not provide internship, the students are required to apply for internships with firms they like, directly. Internship (referred to as Practical Training in the curriculum) is a part of the curriculum, for a period of forty weeks.
Placement Experience
There are no placements organised by the college, students that pass out are required to apply to jobs by themselves. Job opportunities are decent, and the college has a good reputation with most of the firms in the state and many students get placed with the best firms in the country every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very nominal, and there are fee reductions for reservation students. The fee per year is about Rs.35,000/-The stationery expenses are not included, about another Rs.5,000/- may be spent on stationery for assignments every semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no loan or scholarship provided by the college. The students may apply for external aid, though.
Campus Life
The gender ratio in college is about 70:30 (F:M). Students come from all social backgrounds, and all of them get along well. Extracurricular activities are not organised by the college on a regular basis, but students are encouraged to indulge in sports and other cultural activities organised by themselves.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumnus are very helpful when approached, many of them are well-placed. Senior students in college generally are very helpful, and it is a very good give and Take system in place in the college, with juniors helping seniors with their projects as well.
Exam Structure
There are two semesters each year, and each semester is for about four and a half months. Other than one set of internal mid-semester exams, and the external end-semester exams, we did not have any other exams. Regular assignments are given, though, which.
