First year in Poornima College

As a first year student, while studying all types of engineering my first semester seemed far more easier than the second one . As this semester has much more hard subject than the last time. But curriculum is good for the development of every type of skills a engineering student need before going out in the real world.

Many students start landing there placements in third year and different companies visit for placements with an avg. package of 4.5lpa. The most common companies are TCS,shree cement,etc. Many students successfully land on campus placement while others move for higher studies or competition exams. This year a package of 12lpa was highest

85,000/- is my tution fee in which approx. 15,000/- more are added due to NAAC accreditation that was given to our college this year. I am also giving Hostel fees of 1,06,000/- and 10,000/- caution money. Other than this compulsory charges are to be given during the time of rtu examinations.

The annual technical fest Aadhar takes place to develop engineering skills in both hardware and software. The college fest Aarohan held for four days that bought singers like Akhil sachdeva, Sanam band,Seedhe Maut. There are many clubs that students can join according to their interest. Many seminars also take place to keep motivating students for overall development. All types of books are provided for students in library including E-learning

The process of admission is through the jee mains score and one can get direct admission or through the Reap form for students from Rajasthan. Students get scholarship to get admission in engineering courses that are related to other than computer science by there 10 and 12 marks being more than 80%.

Teachers are easy to approach and have good qualifications,with good time of experience. They are friendly and helpful in both college timings as well as other than that. They also motivate us to focus us other things also that can help in overall development.
