Entrance Preview

I haven't taken any entrance exam. I went through anna university cutoff mark. I love mechanical engineering thats why selected this group. This college is near to the city and placements are good.

Internships Opportunities

Good, I did internship in Sri Vinayaga Tools in padi. I was doing quality controller role there. I got a stipend of 9500 rupees.

Placement Experience

So many companies came for placement but most of them are IT mechanical was less. I got placed in campus in quest global pvt ltd. in bangalore.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got first graduate scholarship from government yearly 32500 rupees.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
