Likes

the culture of study among the students.
the greenery of college campus and proper cleanliness
the facility of college library which is available till 8pm for college students to focus on study

Dislikes

college uniform is mandatory for the students
the college gates are closed after 8am so no exit till 2pm

Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum is followed by the affiliated university ie. RTU(Rajasthan Technical University, Kota) the curricuum and syllabus iss a bit older and not up to date according to the current scenario of this field but the application and the way of teaching is far better comparative to other colleges

Internships Opportunities

there is are regular internship opportunity for students of all the years base on their branch different projects and tasks are given to studentss based on their skills for first year students there is a training of approx week after the ending of 2nd semester

Placement Experience

the placement of our college is good but this year due to recession the placements are less as compared to previous years the average package is around 4-5LPA mostly service based companies visit our college for placement

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure of 4 year btech course is around 4L tution fees and around 4L for hostel there is a tution fee waiver for toppers so their tution fee is reduce to only 11000 for each semester there is also an examination fee for the end sem exams

Campus Life

the campus is a bit small there are many clubs in the college abut are not much active and there are different eventss organised in the college the biggest techno cultural event is PRAVAH which is orgaanised in the month of march every year

Hostel Facilities

there are two types of hostels available for boys first is twin sharing ac hostel and second one is single occupancy hostel with facilty of centralised cooling system thequality of mess food can be improved

Hostel Fee: INR 102000 per year

Admission

eligibilty of the course is you must be having PCM in your 12th grade the counselling is through REAP counselling there is reservation for rajasthan students there are regular mid term exams in each semester

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Through AIEEE or RPET or through management quota. One can just apply through the college portal and submit there Aieee marks. Though RPET is a preferred mode of entrance to any college in RTU. Management quota is also there for well off candidates and lesser marks

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

My experience at SKIT College

I choose this college because this college us ranked no 1 in rajasthan for technical education. This is nirf ranked and RTU affiliated college but this college is become Autonomous. No i only applied for this college so I do not get any rejections from other colleges. Admission process is In jee you need to score more than 94 percentile to secured a Computer Science branch,there is also a management quota in that 5 lakh is given to college apart from college fees to get desired branch. I am only apply for this college as my first choice of reap counselling and my favourite branch computer science and engineering . And I got it in 1st round of counselling at 91.6 percentile. This is the best college ranked no.1 so I choice it and prefer it to my one position. I don't want to go in government college of Rajasthan so I choice it.
